Torneo estivo di preparazione alla Finlandia...

A noi bastava andare in Finlandia, che ci si arrivasse come una squadra affiatata o come un branco di paraculati che si sono visti recapitare dal cielo questa splendida esperienza e che andavano lassú in vacanza, non faceva differenza

Io, sinceramente non ricordo minimamente questo torneo, non riconosco neanche la palestra...

Peró, apparte la parte gli allenatori, eravamo proprio una bella squadra...

Ma che ho in mano, una palla da bowling? Si giocava per caso al Calcio in costume?

Mamma mia che prima linea... Il Fenomeno, il grezzo ed il chiavatore, non necessariamente elencati in ordine da dx a sx

Simone, ma io e te giocavano con il vestitino?

Che stile il Capaccia...allentore in seconda con la Canotta Partenopea...

Eravamo troppo avanti, il palleggiatore lo mandavamo a fare muro in 4...per far meno danni possibili, hehehe

UPS, il pallone é giá passato...

Sembra quasi che si salti alla stessa altezza...ma in seguito si scoprirá il trucco...

C'era chi invadeva e faceva ombra, e c'era chi invece saltava in alto...

Qui peró, caro Ciambellino, t'hanno chiavato in parallela...

E non scordiamoci che anche l'Ilardi faceva parte della squadra!!!

Ed eccoci qui, alla prima esperienza di sport di squadra. Chissá perché iniziai a fare pallacanestro, forse perché i nostri genitori si erano messi d'accordo.

I 3 capallesi in trasferta a S. Maria, giocando per il Basket S. Lorenzo.

Ed ecco qui la squadra al completo.

La mia sorella é nella foto perché era il mio babbo a farla, quindi decideva lui!!! Mi ero invece completamente scordato che ci fosse anche l'Alessia a giocare con noi. Sarebbe carino sapere la sua esperienza, so per certo che dopo ha giocato a pallavolo....di questa squadra, che io sappia, solo il Caciolli e Gianni hanno continuato con il basket.

A partire dall'alto, riconosco il Caciolli, Fabio Niccolai, Gianni, mia sorella, io e Sasha.

Di quelli in basso, oltre all'Alessia, mi sembra che quello a destra fosse chiamato Tibo, gli altri rimangono anonimi.

Finalmente dopo mesi e mesi di duri allenamenti dove si doveva imparare a palleggiare senza guardare il pallone, palleggiare con due palloni contemporaneamente e tanti esercizi noiosi, tipo di passaggi, scambi etc etc, eccoci che si gioca una partita.

Mi sa che sia tipico a questa etá che tutti rincorrono la palla, stile mandria di bufali. I ruoli e la tattica sono cose per grandi!!!

Ovviamente questo l'ho messo dentro...

Finalemente, dopo anni di inattivitá, ho ritrovato la voglia di mettere post sul blog.

Sono anni che giá sapevo come questo blog si sarebbe evoluto, e qualche giorno fa ho trovato l'ispirazione di rimettermi a rivedere tutte le foto che il mio babbo ha fatto ogni volta che veniva a vedere le mie partite, fossero state di calcio, di pallavolo o di basket.

A quei tempi, di digitale c'éra solo l'orologio CASIO con la calcolatrice incorporata, le macchine fotografiche avevano rullini, e non era possibile rifare una foto fatta a cazzo, cancellarla, ritoccarla al pc, oppure fare 20 foto in 5 secondi, sperando che una venga bene!!!

Ancora non ho osato rimettermi a rivedere i video che ha fatto, ci saranno per lo meno 25-30 ore di riprese, lí si ci sará da divertirsi a rivedermi e rivedere tutti quelli con cui ho giocato.

Il miglior modo per cominciare, come in tutte le cose, é dall'inizio. Si inizia con il nuoto, ma di foto non ne ho ancora trovate, consigliato dal dottore (il nuoto fa bene, fortifica etc etc), ma chissá perché nessuno ha mai detto ai genitori quanto sia noioso!!!

Dopo i vari esercizi a bordo vasca di riscaldamento, stretching e preparazione, tutti in acqua....ma guai a tuffarsi!!!

Dopodiché, via, fare 5 vasche, respira, controllo movimento di braccia e gambe, respira, gambe e braccia sincronizzate, respira .... 1 vasca, si torna indietro, nuota e respira, nuota e cosí via.

Fino a che di vasche da fare ce n'era 3 o 5, era facile tenere il conto, quando dovevano essere 10, a metá giá non ricordavi quante - RESPIRA - ne avevi fatte, provavo a ricordarmi chi avevo davanti e chi dietro, quante volte - RESPIRA - avevo girato, ma non ricordavi mai. Dopotutto tutte le vasche sono uguali, non c'era niente che distingueva la prima dalla seconda o terza o settima - RESPIRA.

E poi c'era da stare attenti a quelli che arrivavano da dietro che erano piú veloci, o quelli che erano davanti che erano lenti, provare a capire se l'istruttore a bordo vasca stava dicendo qualcosa a te oppure ad un altro, e quando fischiavano era per il nostro gruppo o per quello accanto!!!

Una noia mortale...

Thanks to Mr. Blatter, finally we had known how the future would be for volleyball in Europe.
Having for granted that the number of EU-players cannot be limited, I'm really waiting to know what FIVB (or is just Mr. Acosta!!!) would decide tomorrow (12th of may) in this extraordinary meeting.
In few days, from a situation where the bigger leagues where preparing official complaints against the limitation of foreign players decided by the FIVB, now it's Mr. Acosta who has the need to change "his rules" in order to follow the EU laws.
I doubt he would be able to limit the number of EU players in EU countries, but what worries me mostly are his ideas to change this wonderfull sport one more time.

For sure at the next Olympic games, there would be a new ball: do we really needed it?
In his last interview he said that he didn't like the idea that side-outs were too fast and that there were not so many opportunities to see deifences, transition balls and more exciting plays.
It was him who introduced the new rules which brought in the serve with the opportunity to touch the net, he introduced the LIBERO, avoiding 2,10 m tall players to pass and defense. This would have brought more bad passes, few defences and longer plays....shall we say that it has been his foult?
He suggested to make new rules for ball's dimension and size (bigger and softer): shall we use beach volley balls? Games in this way would last for hours; wasn't him the ones who needed shorter games to have better TV contracts?

What do I suggest? If he wants to see more defenses and transitions balls, he should just watch WOMEN VOLLEYBALL (no offence girls!!!)

Gli Italiani, lo sappiamo, sono un popolo testardo.

Quando tutti dicevano che oltre le Colonne d'Ercole finiva il mondo, è grazie alla caparbietà di un singolo che l'America è stata scoperta.

Se da un certo punto di vista può essere capita la scelta del perchè gli italiani abbiano votato Berluska la prima volta che si candida, è pechè c'era da colmare il vuoto lasciato dalla caduta di DC e PSI ed evidentemente erano ani in cui la situazione economica degli italiani non era male. Il tenore di vita, ripensandoci oggi, non era poi così malaccio.

In quei tempi in cui venivano promessi UN-MILIONE-DI-POSTI-DI-LAVORO, in cui ancora veniva rispettato nel mondo imprenditoriale, in cui aveva costruito un impero nel mondo delle telecomunicazioni, accompagnato da grandi successi nello sport, quando davvero ancora si poteva sperare che fosse capace di realizzare quello che prometteva, quando ancora nessuno aveva veramente provato sulla sua pelle cosa volesse dire essere stato preso per il culo da un nanerottolo, corrotto e intrallacciato con la Mafia e con ogni altra forma di delinquenza esistente in italia,

DIVENTA poi difficile capire come mai gli italiani abbiano deciso di ridargli fiducia una seconda volta. Niente di buono era stato fatto nel suo BerlusKaz I, una campagna elettorale completamente basata sull'aggredire l'avversario, continui attacchi all'Europa e all'EURO. Guardandosi indietro, non dovremmo smettere mai di ringraziare Prodi per aver stretto la corda a parecchie persone per farci entrare nell'Europa dell'EURO. Chissà quante volte avrebbe volentieri svalutato la lira Mr. B, per fare aumentare le esportazioni e la competitività dei prodotti italiani nel mondo: facile "migliorare" l'economia in questo modo, senza riforme strutturali, senza muovere un dito e senza creare niente di duraturo. Nonostante tutto, in quei orrendi 5 anni di governo dove è stata distrutta la poca informazione che c'era in italia, dopo i quali la satira politica è praticamente illegale, dopo i quali non è più possibile ascolare interviste con la I maiuscola a politici (il giornalista fa la domanda, ed il politico risponde; se il politico nella risposte parla e parla per alla fine non dire niente, non si sente mai un giornalista esclamare: "SI, bene, ma non ha risposto a quello che le ho chiesto!!!"). Anni in cui è stata attaccatta giornalmente la magistratura, definendola politicizzata. Che colpa hanno i giudici se coloro che hanno rubato, pagato tangenti, collaborato con la mafia, corrotto personaggi pubblici e del mondo giuridico, ora sono politici? Se Berlusconi era primo ministro quando era sotto i vari processi, non è perchè i giudici ce l'avevano con il Berlusca politico, ma con il berlusca imprenditore che ora è politico. Possibile che nessuno di quei coglioni della sinistra in 5 anni sia mai riuscito a dirlo? Leggi ad-minchiam, condoni su condoni, delinquenti in parlamento, evasione fiscale sempre più alta etc etc. MI domando io, con queste premesse, come è possibile votarlo ancora, dargli la possibilità di un BERLUSKA III????Nei giorni prima della elezioni mi veniva chiesto se avesse vinto Berluska o no. Che rispondere? Difficile avere un'idea dell'Italia dopo non averci vissuto per 4 anni, ma la mia idea era questa. Se gli italiani quando votano sono egoisti e pensano al presente, allora sì che berlusca è quello da votare, colui che promette soldi più soldi e meno tasse da subito. Se invece al momento del voto si pensa al futuro, a quali possano essere le scelte che farà il nuovo governo pe fare in modo che l'italia sia un paese migliore tra 10\15 anni, allora non capisco perchè berlusca di nuovo!!!!

Si pensa di migliorare l'economia con Tremonti, il cui unico punto sul quale basa la rinascita dell'economia italiana è la nascita dell'Eurobond, e ciò una sorta di debito pubblico europeo nella quale buttare tutti i debiti dell'Italia? Ma dico io, pensa davvero che in Europa sono così coglioni?

Se telefonasse a Bono degli U2 e a Ratzinger affinchè, nella loro prossima campagna mondiale per abbatteranno il debito dei paesi del terzo mondo, includano anche l'Italia nella lista, forse avrebbe più successo. Io spero di sbagliarmi, però la vedo BUIA per gli italiani d'Italia.

Ho avuto il grandissimo piacere di far coicidere la mia ultima partita con la discussione della tesi di Dario, ed ho saputo che anche lui é diventato Dottore, credo in Fisica.

Complimenti, ed ora che hai un foglio di carta grande 100x80, con il tuo nome sopra, un paio di firme, dei numeri, dei simbolini e delle lettere in grassetto, che te ne fai?
Ne hai fatto una riduzione e la tiene sempre con te nel tuo portafoglio, in ricordo dei tanti sacrifici fatti in questi ultimi 8/9 anni per ottenerlo, oppure come una presa di coscienza che il periodo del cazzeggio é volto al termine? ;-)))

Sicuramente, come ho sempre sentito dire, una laurea é sempre meglio averla che non, purtroppo peró in un paese come il nostro (oppure vostro?!?!?), un laureato con 110 ma senza raccomandazioni, avrá sempre meno opportunitá di uno con 95 ma super-lecchino-raccomandato!!!
La Meritocrazia, a patto che la parola esista, non é una caratterista del sistema Italia.

Qui vi é una della ultime foto fatte insieme a Dario prima di lasciare l'Italia: mitico mercoledí sera paella+sangria a 15 euro.

La foto non é chiarissima, ma rende benissimo l'idea di come sangria, grappa e limoncello siano un ottimo preludio a foto del genere, hihihi

Avrei potuto infierie scannerizzando le foto della nostra vacanza a Barcellona, estate 2000, ma ho evitato:
- primo perché sono state 2 settimane surreali, nel senso positivo del termine: se avessimo voluto pianificarle, cercando di ottenere il massimo da quella cittá, non saremmo riusciti ad organizzare qualcosa di migliore (forse un po' piú di passerina non avrebbe fatto male, ma non cerchiamo il pelo nell'uovo.) e mi piace che tali ricordi rimangano privati e personali;
- secondo perché ora sei Dott., hai una reputazione ancora da difendere, e non mi piacerebbe essere io quello che la abbatte dopo appena un mese, hehehehe

Caro Paganini, benvenuta é la sua presenza e attiva partecipazione al club dei Dott. in qualcosa!!!

GOODBYE Volleyball

Tuesday the 18th of march it has been my last volleyball match.
At the moment there is nothing that would garantee that I'll play volleyball again.
I'm becoming dad in august, we want to move WEST (Herning area), I'll start soon with my second job as salesman for Legea and time for volley becomes smaller and smaller.
I want to thank all the coaches I had and all the players I had the pleasure to play with. Those past years in Denmark had been fantastics, I played at a level that I hadn't played before and I've my last game as been possibly one of my best ones so far.

Con questo post colgo l'occasione per ringraziare le squadre che mi hanno avuto come giocatore, a cominciare dalla Sestese dove hanno avuto la pazienza di insegnarmi ad apprezzare questo sport, insegnandomi a stare in campo. Mai scorderó gli allenamenti di Brunello ed il campionato Under18; oppure l'anno successivo con Mauro e con il "Biacco" come secondo allenatore-massaggiatore-tuttofare; o la coppia piú bella del mondo Paolino-Sandro. Grazie a questi ultimi 2 ho cominciato a capire che la pallavolo non é solo una questione di fisico o di chi tira piú forte, ma é necessaria l'attitudine giusta, la concentrazione giusta e la voglia di uscire dal campo senza rimorsi per ottenere successi.
Ringraziare la Pallavolo Narnali per 4 fantastici anni, anche se un anno sono stato 6 mesi in Spagna perdendo una completa fase di ritorno e l'anno successivo andando in Russia perdendo una fase d'andata. Quattro anni con un gruppo di ragazzi stupendi, cresciuti insieme sia pallavolisticamente ma anche personalmente. Come dimenticare le cene sociali al circolino, le cene di natale da Fiorello, i venerdí sera a ballare con quegli che avevano piú di 18 anni, bere 2 Red Bull prima di giocare il sabato e poi uscire insieme ai "giovani" in scooter. Un grazie a Marco Targioni, lui mi ha veramente insegnato la tecnica del centrale. Mi ha trovato che forse solamente sapevo bene o male come si facesse ad attaccare, non avevo nessuna idea di come si facesse bene un muro, o a battere oppure a difendere. Allenamenti duri, allenatore duro ma che sapeva regalarti un sorriso quando le cose le avevi fatte nel modo giusto.
Che dire di Fabio Grassi, le sue espressioni rimarranno indelebili nella nostra mente quali: "Alza sta cazzo di balla, vah!!!"; "Diego, sei una rimessa, ma che ti ci porto a fare!?!?!?" "Matteo, Alza a me alza che ci penso io". È stato un successore degno di Marco, si é trovato in ereditá una squadra che aveva un grande bagaglio tecnico, ma che non aveva le palle di andare a giocarsela con tutte. Le partite immemorabili? Andare a vincere 3-0 a San Sepolcro e superargli in classifica; la partita a Cortona: sotto 2 set a 0 e sull' 8-2, o qualcosa del genere, entro come opposto e andiamo a vincere.
Anno successivo a Campi, allenarsi a 500 m da casa é fantastico: andare in motorino all'allenamento in inverno e non fare a tempo a sentire il freddo che giá stai aprendo la porta del garage. Anno difficile, facendo il militare mi allenavo 2-3 volte a settimana da solo o con la seconda squadra, e poi avevo la fissazione di giocare opposto o di banda. Proprio non ne volevo sapere di giocare al centro: sará anche perché avevo 3 fenomeni davanti a me quali Claudio Gristina, Sdondoli o come si chiama :))) e il Baronti. Se devo dare un merito a Davide é stato quello di avervi migliorato tantissimo in difesa e nella mia condizione fisica, d'altronde allenandosi da soli é difficile allenare altri fondamentali.

Che dire dei 2 tornei INDIMENTICABILI giocati con lo Scarperia?
- Torneo di Pasqua in Riviera Romagnola, ogni sera a ballare, la mattina a giocare o a per lo meno provare a far vedere che anche noi ogni tanto giocavamo a pallavolo e il pomeriggio in spiaggia!!!!
- Torneo Internazionale in Finlandia, rappresentando i colori dell'Italia, giocando con la maglia con su scritto NAZIONALE ITALIANA UISP. Tutti i professionisti lo hanno sempre detto e fortunatamente nel mio piccolo l'ho provato: le partite internazionali hanno un sapore particolare....e se poi hai anche la possibilitá di fare il turista visitando Helsinki; di baccagliare tutte le componenti delle rappresentative femminili presenti al torneo ed uscire la sera in cerca di bellezze locali, cosa chiedere di piú!?!?!

In Danimarca il primo anno ho avuto la fortuna di essere stato allenato da un allenatore eccezionale: Ruben Wolochin. Appuntatevi questo nome che ne sentirete parlare. Il destino ci ha fatto incontrare e ne ho tratto solo giovamento. Le mie conoscenze tattiche sono notevolmente migliorate, ho avuto la possibilitá di vedere cosa sia la pallavolo giocata ad un livello professionale (anche se senza soldi), dove vi é studio dell'avversario, dove viene studiata la tattica a tavolino, dove viene allenata come metterla in pratica ed é fantastico uscire dal campo vincendo perché hai fatto quello che sapevi di dover fare.
Gli unici rammarici sono stati quegli di perdere 2 finali quell'anno, e l'anno successivo perdere nuovamente la finale di coppa.
Ultimi 2 anni giocati ad ASV, portando la squadra in Elitedivision e quest'anno ottenendo la salvezza e centrando l'obiettivo stagionale.
Un saluto a tutti i miei amici pallavolisti ed alle societá nelle quali ho avuto il piacere di militare. Porteró solo fantastiche memorie con me!!!!

We arrived at this game with good expectations. We knew it would have been hard to win, what we wanted was to play at our level.
Something that we haven't done. Personally, after the first set our pass couldn't get so many good balls in our setters hand, or at least not when I was in front.
It was a shame, becasue I had good feelings and I like to play in that gym.

After a long time we had a camera recording our match again.
Important match for both of us.
My parents were here visiting me and at the game came also my parent´s in law, my wife, her grand-parents and his brother. I had never had so many people of the family watching a game.
It ended well, good victory which makes our last 2 games easier to be played.

Another game lost 3-0, but this is a completly differentway of loosing.
We had to face the best team of Denmark, and even if they were missing the opposite and a passer, they had been clearly better thatn us. We could have done few things better, expecially in pass against Santos and Søe, but I can say we took a small step in the right direction for the upcoming games.
Next stop? The Århus derby, @ Skovbakken!! For the first time as opponent in the gym where I've played for 2 years!!! Great memories comes back in mind, and I'm ready to add a brand new one saturday.

Congratulation to Hvidovre for this victory, they have prepared this match better than us, his defensive system and his block tactic was extremely efficient. From our side I can say that we were expecting an easy game, where it would have been enough just to serve and to wait for their mistakes. It has not been like that, and a 3-0 in one hour is more than deserved.

After winning the 1st set pretty easily, we stopped playing, we didn't played smart and we had too many difficulties in side-out. Our serve lost efficacy after the 1st set, even if their passers had not their best day.

What a game we have lost!!!! Gentofte gave us so so many points with all the serve mistakes they made, Napier was the only one able to kill every ball, and we haven't been capable of blocking him, touching his hits, digging his its.

When in the 4th set we were all focusing on the tie-break, we stopped to play: from 20-15, Gentofe won his side-out and all the other points, winning the set 25-20 and the game!!!!

That's an horrible way to loose a game, specially if you are a center player and you are outside on bench, waiting for your turn to arrive to go back in the field and try to do something better!!!!

ASV - Århus Volley 15/11/2007

The 1st Århus derby of my short carrear in Denmark.
Against all the bets we won this game 3-1, and we showed that we could be competitive against almost every team, if we play how we are able to do, all game long.

Thanks to this victory now I can proudly say that I've won against all the clubs which played in Elitedivision in the past 3 years.

Next personal goals? Win a set in Marienlsyt (always lost 3-0 there!!!) and win 2 sets in Gentofte (why not a victory instead!!!). My best results there has been loosing 3-1, january 2006!!!!

From now on I'll put videos of the games I've played. OK, not the whole game, I'll put just the points I made.

Unfortunatly I have not so much time to update this blog that often anymore, therefor there would not be long commnets for everygame.

What can I say about this one?

ASV - Hvidovre, 3-0. Out first victory of the season. Pretty intense game, not technically but mentally. Both teams had 0 point and it was crucial for both of us this victory. It turned to be easier than expected.

Generazione di Fenomeni

This is the greatest volleyball team ever, wonderful guys who are now great men, with families, children, a regular job, a regular life, but their volleyball knowledge is still intact, they still have the "eyes of the tiger" when it about winning or losing a point.

In the week there are been the European Championships for Veterans, and, shall I say off course, we won.

It has been a long time since we started a volleyball competition beeing considered the #1 for the final victory, the teamto beat, the favorites for the final victory.

On the CEV web site it possible to see the results of the competitions; for the ones who understand Italian, there is a blog on the net, Generazione di Fenomeni a blog made and managed by them.

It's fantastic to have the opportunity to read about volleyball from the ones who have written the History of Volleyball, to read about gossips, sensations and memories of those unforgettable years: the years when, with our bench, we could won World Leagues; when we could won World Cups and European Championships with-out loosing a single match, when we lost an Olympic gold medal for an old non-sense rule (losing the tie-break 17-16....); when everybody in the wolrd was looking at them as examples to follow.

Great memories for an Italian, becasue if I want to think about good volleyball times, those are the ones I have to think about.

Here comes a quotation from the last post of their blog, after they won again:

The Wedding

It took so long to write a new post, but after the end of the season, I had a wedding to organize, my wedding.

I got married the 2nd of june 2007 with Tina and after that day I've spent a lot of my free time building a web-site with all the hundreds of pictures of that day.
Visit it, it´s great!!!!

ASV goes to Elite (part 2)

It has been a great honour for me to open JP Århus and to find a picture of mine in the sport section.
It has been taken at the game we played against Frederiksberg, the day that we officially owned the right to play in Elite next year.

Even if there were my picture, the article was about the game with a short interview to our coach and a longer one to Niels, asking him what his plans for the future are.

It has been thanks to this article that I found out how next season would be organized.
I knew there would have been only 8 teams who´d have played a "regular" season, but I hoped it would have been a 2 leg´s league (home and away game against the same team), and may be semi-finals and finals at the best of 5 games.
In stead I found out that there are 3 legs: 2 home matches and 1 away (or 1 home match and 2 away) against the same team with semi-finals and finals at the best of 3 games.

Why am I writing this in the post?

Because last year there had been someone who had complained, or has expressed his doubts about the evaluation system for the selection of the best players of the season, and after his post, magically, the system has been changed.

Now, I don´t pretend to be so important to adjust the Danish volleyball system according to my desires, but I´m just offering few suggestions:

- I personally think that the 3 legs league is meaningless. Why 3 legs? Just because there are 3 legs in the Danish soccer league, it doesn´t mean we have to get that system too in volleyball.
If the idea is that a team has to play around 24/26 games in one year, it would be a solution to play a 2 legs regular league, play-offs at the best of 5 games. It would be a minimum of 14 games, but entering the play-offs a team can play between 17 and 27 games.
May be we could also play home and away matches in the Lufthansa Cup, but still playing the final in Odense;

- If the system has been changed, why not changing also the point system? Almost all the best leagues in the world has the 3-points system for a victory (3-0 or 3-1), 2 points to win the tie-break and 1 point to loose the tie-brek. I believe this system really shows the real value of the teams, because if a team is better than the others and wins most of the games in 3 or 4 sets, it must have more points of who wins a lot of game but always at the 5th set.

In my opinion, as an ASV player, this system will make the league much more excited: for a team as ours it would be easier to win 2 sets than 3. It would be easier to get one point in Gentofte if we know we "just" need two sets, or against Marienlyst, Sk and the other top teams which we´ll fight for the league.

I don´t know how many would agree with this, but it would also help to fight the Jantelov(unfortunatly, only Danish readers can understand what I´m talking about), having smaller goals which can be reached easier can give players, and coaches, the confidence in themselves that they can do it, that they can play in Marienlystcenter or at Kildeskovshallen and come back home with 1 important point.
In the same way it would help the players to have a constant focus all the game long, because it won´t be the same, in terms of points, to win in 4 or in 5 sets.

ASV goes to Elite

We made it, yes, WE MADE IT.
This team has been builted to move up to Elitedivision, and we did it.
It has not always been easy, too may times we were short of people, specially in practises (me first, I could not practise more than twice a week due to uncompatible working and training schedules), few times we had a bad game´s approach and it ended in losses (not too many....but enough).

We can celebrate one week earlier thanks to favourable results from the other games: Lyngby (who was in 2nd place) and PVC Lyngby (who was in 3rd place) both lost this week-end.
We needed just one victory in the last 2 games, and we got it at the first attempt.
This time has been Frederiksberg which gave us 2 points, but it has not been absolutly easy.

The first 2 sets went very well and too easy, we did the break when me and Henrik were serving and it says a lot about my pussy-jump-flot-serve´s afficiency: we won 25-17 and 25-12, the 3rd was on our way but a bad 2nd ref call made us nervous and we lost 5-6 points in a row.

We put things back togheter and we tied at 18-18, but we stopped playing there, we really did: we lost 25-19.
The fourth has been so full of passion, I guess we were feeling the pressure, or the so-call "Fear of winning".

The set has been tied till the 20s, but we got huge digs, effective blocks and wonderful transitions balls and on 24-20 Diego goes to serve.
He has the ball of the season in his hands, he asked the coach if he can jump serve, and the coach sadly answered NO!!!

But I was there, when could it happen again to have a Season-ball in my hands?
I took my responsabilities and I jumped serve!!!

UGLY serve, in the middle of the net!! It has been egoistic but I did because I was sure, in case of a serve´s mistake, we could have had 3 side-out to take the point we needed to end the season and to start celebrating.

We have one more game and we want to finish with 16 points, but already under the showers started the "Magic-volley Starting 6" for the next game: I left the room when the coach suggested to play with double setters, which would have been me and Niels. The ones who has the clearest set though, jehejhjehe

So, next saturday it would be an funny game and we can keep celebrating with all the others ASV´s team at "End of the season" party later that evening!!!

SK Århus - ASV 3 - 1

It was a friendly match, but it made me think a lot.

I arrived a little bit late at the gym as I was at work and I didn´t play the 1st set, which we won!!!

Mr Makoto YAMAGUCHI played only the 1st set, which they lost and later he "rested" watching the game from the bench.
It makes a better impression to say that you rested, in stead of facing the truth saying that you didn´t play for technical choice :))))

Was just a coincidence, or was it a SIGN that our time is close to be over?

Or was just our teammates that tryed to tell us something? Do they may be play better without us?

I actually think it´s time to give more space to young players, to let new Danish talents play....but where are they?

Good volleyball week-end to everyone

Amager - ASV 0-6

Great saturday in Copenaghen....
3-0 in 59 minutes and a lot of beers on the way home.
As the girls won 3-0 too in 60 minutes, we had double beers and double fun, ejhejehej

Not much to say about volley, they had a good start, they went in front 7-2 till 13-9 but after we adjusted our side-out, we made a couple of good blocks and the game was actually over: i think they got scared of beeing blocked, our transition was working great and they made a lot of unforced mistakes, they touched the net at least 15 times in 3 sets.
In the second and third set we just served and scored any time we had a chance....

After a nice beer under the shower, we had to see the girls who were with us on the bus, and off course everyone was waiting for a fast match: I want to be honest, I was waiting for a fast 3-0 for Amager, but ASV won the 1st....what a long evening it´s going to be. ASV won the 2nd too....Hope they are not going to tie-break or we come back in Århus at 2 in the night....and they got the 3rd.
A nice match we were wainting for, and a fast match it was!!!
How nice is to come back with a bok of beer waiting on the bus, and with 2 more added during the journey!!!! What a day

Vi chiameranno bravi a vincere questo campionato, senza squadre vere, senza la juve soprattutto, con milan e fiorentina azzoppate e la Roma che sembra mandare la primavera quando gioca in trasferta.

Un´altra stagione fallita!!!

Beh, non si vedeva una tal rabbia sul volto di Cordoba dal giorno in cui gli rubarono lo scooter a 12 anni!!!

Comunque, se avessero messo tutta la foga agonistica che hanno utilizzato nei 30 secondi di rissa, un gol a questi sciagurati glielo avrebbero infilato.

D´altronde all´Inter non piace fare le cose facili.....tipo vincere lo scudetto giocando contro una squadra (la Lazio) che non ha niente da chiedere al campionato in data 5 maggio 2002

ASV - PVC Lyngby 3-0 (sub judice)

I´d like to say that yesterday game has been a great game to play, we have showed a good volleyball level for the lenght of the whole game, having a regular serve, a pretty good pass with a regular side-out, a solid block which helped a lot to play good transition volley: PVC has been ahead on the scoreboard only once, 1-0 of the first set when the ref judged my set double.
I'd like to say that with this 2 points we put almost definitly PVC out of the battle to win this group, but I CAN´T.

The result is sub judice. I don´t know if that´s how it has to be said in English, but those 2 Latin words mean that PVC complained after the game that we have played on a side of the gym, in a small court with just few meters between the court and the walls. We had to play there because few lights in the middle of the main court wasn´t working and it was really too dark to play.
Now we have to wait the answer of the Danish Volleyball Federation: they can accept PVC complaining or not. If they do, we have to play against them again.

Looking at our group standing, I think it would be better for us that we´d play this game again: without this loss, PVC still has a lot of chances to win this group and they still have to play against Lyngby, which is actually in the 1st position. If PVC wins all his games and we do it as well, we could re-play yesterday match at the end of the season, as the last match to be played and it would be a kind of final: who wins moves up to Elitedivision.

Let´s wait the answer of the Federation, in any case those are 2 points that we need to keep fighting to be the 1st.

We Went West...to get 2 points

In the past 2 years I´ve played away games almost in the same places (København, Aalborg and Odense), this year we are going west too. In the first part of the season we visited Esbjerg (better know here as Fiskeby), thursday we went to Bedsted. I never went that far before, I visited Mos, but I never entered Thy.

It was nice, a warm gym, great hot-water showers and a gym with tarmac instead of parquet. It´s since I was still playing in Italy I haven´t played in a gym with tarmac and a lot of memories came back that evening. Memories of great games, of wonderful team-mates, of battles over (but almost under) the net, of good players I´ve played against (many of them playing now in A2 or B1), of unforgivable losses: in few words, a different volley, based more on emotions, on fights, on energy, on power.

I don´t want to say that there are no emotions, no power, no energy here in Denmark, what I mean is that there are not as much as I used to had.
I wasn´t playing in a big national division, I´ve always played in C League and every year our goal was to reach the play-offs. Sometimes we made it, sometime we didn´t. We had 4 practises per week and games on saturday evening [the beauty of playing saturday at 21:00 is that you can go out crazy on friday night, and have a whole day to "recover" before the match....as I said, I didn´t play in a national division]: even if the level I used to play can be compared with the one of the Elite division, I´ve never had video sessions, never had statistics to study, never had hitting directions to remember or special block tactics. During the week we worked a lot on individual technic and game situations with the goal to improve our weaknessess.

Doing that, every point won during games, every set won during matches, every match won during a season, was felt as a personal achievement, we were really playing against someone we didn´t know how they would serve, where they would hit, how they would hit: it was like going to an exam without having studied. For this reason, every point was a great event, every seat needed to be celebrate, every victory was followed by a week of happiness because everything had been achieved thanks to our selve, thanks to our attitude to adjust our tactics every week-end, thanks to our wish to win: thanks to our abilities to find which was the best way to play to win that particular game. Victories tasted better down there!!!!

Here in Denmark almost everyone does statistics, (video sections, hitting directions, zones where to serve, setting tendences and so on) and it´s not a bad thing, I´m in charge of that in ASV now, I give suggestions to my coach about what would be our best strategy. What I wanted to say is that I have to opportunity to compare 2 different ways of game´s approach, where the volleyball level is almost the same. Doing that, I can say, once again, everything up here is too "cold": as there is not so much happiness for every ball won, there is not too much frustration for evey ball lost, but off course everybody prefers to remember good moments and good moments, for me, have been better in Italy.

This post was ment to talk about the match and I´ll do shortly as I have to get preprared for today's match.
We won 3-1 (15-25; 20-25; 25-20; 18-25), we didn´t play that well but they played worst, and I was enough to get 2 points. I can say that has been 2 easy points, and I hope (better, I wish) that Copenhagen´s teams will face more problems playing here, specially after a 6 hour journey.

After 2 days of snow, todays temperature is 2 C and it´s raining, the snow is smelting.

For 2 days Engadalsvej had no buses.

Actually the buses drove in front of my house twice between thursday and friday, but after this weird situation, they decided to drive on Silkeborgvej.

With no doubt, we can say that the bus drivers of the Line 17, are in 1st position in our countdown as the MOST EXTREME Bus drivers of Århus, hehehehe

Yesterday, this lovely street next to the Århus lake, had to face new troubles: we had been without heat all day, from 11 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon.

It has not been a lovely stay...

Now we really hope that this winter is over; spring is making his entrance in South Europe, and we are ready to welcome it up here too: we want to start soon the BBQ season in our backyard, everyone is invited!!!!

ASV - Lyngby 0-3

Bad saturday, very bad volleyball´s saturday.

We lost 3-0 against Lyngby who was missing 3 starting-6 players, but the ones who substitute them play a good volley.

There is not much to say, they played better, their attacks have been very efficient, their serve was "regular", doing only 3 mistakes, all of them in the 3rd set, forcing us to play side-out, and inevitably, we got blocked, we hitted out, we got digged a lot of times. May be a reason that we didn´t even win a set, for the first time in the season, is the thing that we got digged a lot of times, and it made us unsecure of our skills and consequently, ball after ball, our self-confidence decresed, making the game easier for Lyngby and tougher for us

Their defensive system was efficient, specially against our opposite....

We trow away a great opportunity, we could have lead our group, now we are FORCED to win all the games, and possibly all of them 3-0, and hopying that Lyngby would lose some sets in the remainig games, with the hope to achieve a better set´s score and win the league to move up in Elite.

I want to thank all the people who went at the game, they have supported us all the 3 sets, even if we wasn´t play good enough... I hope they´ll come next time too, but after our poor performance, I won´t blame if they won´t show up again!!!

Friday I went to see SK Århus (or is it Århus Volley now???) beating Marienlyst, it was really exciting!!! Marienlyst went in front 2-0 thanks to a better serve and a great performance of their opposite, Shawn.

SK found the way to come back in the 3rd and in the 4th....playing incredible defences and smart hits. The tie-break was unreal, they switched courts on 8-7 for SK; since than Marienlyst scored only 2 points with side-out, the others points came from 4 serve mistakes and one ball hitted out!!! It happened that Marienlyst had the match-ball as first, and Milos´ serve was good, a clear ace right before the bottom line, but the ref saw it out, may be thinking about the last 2 Dave´s hits (the first one was a great block-out, the second one was in) which he judge out giving those points to the visitors´ team...

But this saturday haven´t been only volleyball: Juventus haven´t played today, but ITALY for the first time in his history won a 6Nations's game abroad, defeating Scotland 37-17...for the ones who don´t know, I´m talking about Rugby!!!

Great job guys, now we have the reaming 2 games at home against Ireland and Wales....we would like to be with you in the field and help you all to win those games, but you are too big and strong, we just prefere to support you from the stands and in front of TV

Snowstorm

Today, 22nd of february, a snowstorm has arrived in Denmark, covering the central and the north part of Jutland with a minimum of 30 cm....my house included!!!

Those are the pictures I did this morning, after I realized that I couldn´t go to work because there were absolutly no buses or trains. After a short pause, it started to snow agains, and they say it would go for one more day.

As a real Danish, I had to clean the

Hello everyone,

we have had 3 weeks with-out games, I don´t know what going on this year in the Danish Volleyball league game´s schedule, but there is no logic at all. We have 3 weeks with-out games, and we play 3 games in 7 days next week.

Well, the first one to come is Lyngby, and I can´t wait for that day.
The game is quite a no returnig point for them as they already lost 2 games, and loosing one more would definetly cut them off the fight for the 1st postion.

A victory for us means a lot, beeing first with 2 points in front of the others, who still have to come to play in Århus.

Friday evening there is a great volleyball match in Århus, SK plays against Marienlyst: SK wants to confirm that they are the 2nd best team at the moment, and Marienlsyt has to show that they are still in the game to win the league. They are coming from the loses in a row, I guess it hasn´t happened in years and they surely want to stop that tendency.

Well, people could enjoy some of the best volleyball in Denmark at Vejlby-Risskov Hallen of friday, and they can also have a taste of the "underground" volleyball, coming at our match saturday at 13:00 at Energi Stadion.

I want to congratulate my-self with Sisley Treviso who yesterday reached the Final 6 of the Champions League after beating Cuneo 3-0. They really played a great match, beating Cuneo in every aspect of the game, playing better in every situation and making a lot of problems to Giba, MVP of the last World Cup.
In the last years a lot of friends of mine have asked who´d have won the Italian Volleyball league, and I´ve always answered that it would be Sisley, if they reach the Finals. THEY ARE ANIMAL´S FINALS. In the last 2 weeks they lost 3-0 to Verona, who is at the bottom of A1, and won 3-2 to Trento, which is not the best that Italian volley can offer, and no-one would have pronosticated a clear victory yesterday night against Cuneo, 1st in the League. When the games are important, they reach the perfection, they play great volley until the 20s, and after that they are simply perfect!!! It´s a joy to see those games.

I´ve found out that it´s possible to see Italian Volleyball games on Internet....off course I´m talking about men volleyball.

It is absolutly simple, you just have to open an account with bwin.com

After you have opened your own account, you should enter the Live Section of the web.site

There are always a lot of events on that section, for some English football games is possible to have a streaming audio comment from an English Radio Station, for some other events, it´s also possible to watch the match, and Italian A1 League, is one of them.

OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH BWIN...IT´S FREE. You don´t even have to put, none, 0!!!

Every week-end there are 3 volleyball games showed on TV: one is on saturday evening, the second one is on sunday, and the 3rd one is the "Monday Night", this is the first year we have a game on monday.

Amager and Frederiksberg...

Hello everyone,

as always it takes a lot this year to write reviews on our games.

Two weeks ago we played an home match against Amager, for me one of the most difficult matches topay because me, Ace and Ulrik couldn´t play as everyone had personal reasons for not beeing available toplay that day.

I wanna thank you all my team-mates for the great victory they achieved, winning the tie-break and putting 2 more points in our basket.

"The match against Amager was pretty intense, and luckly it came out to our advantage. We didn’t start well at all, and gave away perhaps 15-20 points in unforced errors in the first two sets. Maybe it was due to bad sets or bad passing. But the attack level we showed in the beginning of the 1st set, was not even good enough for the bottom of second division."
That´s a pretty hard comment from our libero, but in a way, just beeing in the back line rotation, he can see the game with a different point of view and I believe what he said is true.

" In general the match was played on a descent volleyball level. I think it could have gone both ways, but something happened in the fourth set that made Amager loose their faith in their own game. I was proberly our very solid block/defense, that made things difficult for their attackers. Fifth set was very even until 8-8 where we were very fortunate to gain a 3 or 4 point lead. Thanks to Amager for a great game ;-)”
Well Anders, I want to thank you one more time....

A week later, another gamein CPH. Game starts at 11 a.m.
Now, I wonder why the Federation allows clubs putting games so early in the morning when the other club has to travel more than 3 hours.
We had to start from Århus at 6 a.m., and may be this is the reason why we played a great 1st set, and almost a very good 2nd set. In Italy there is a way to say: "do not wake up the sleeping lion"...and unfortunalty for Frederiksberg, we had to woke up too early, ejhejhej

0-3 in 1 hour and 7 minutes, I guess they realized they had to play volleyball at the beginning of the 3rd set, because before it looked like we were playing alone!!!
Big victory, pretty good performance, 2 more points that put us in 1st position at the moment.

Now we have 3 weeks break and we are waiting for Lyngby to come to visit us: THIS IS THE MATCH OF THE YEAR.
It´s almost sure whoever wins this match has more than a foot in Elitedivision.
Our team has been built for this reason, and now it comes a fundamental game to turn our season in a succex or in a failure, but I´m sure we will performe at our best that day.

Week-end in København

I know, I know

I haven't written for a very very long time: it could be sound weird, but I have absolutly no time to do it more often.

Anyway, I´ll try to keep a regular overview on our matches.
Last week-end we went to København to play 2 games in 2 days....We had to live at 6 a.m. on Saturday and with us on the mini-bus there were also Ace´s girlfriend. They showed up with a baggage and I thought they would have spend the weeke-end togheter.

The first part of the journey was regular, no traffic at all and the big city was closer and closer. After crossing the bridge I started reading a book and I wasn´t caring what road we were taking but suddenly I opened my eyes and Kastrup airport was at our side. I actually thought we were driving there because Ace´s girfriend had to take a flight and we drove her there (that sounded to me as the most reasonable reason to be there), BUT I was miserably wrong.
AS USUAL, WE GOT LOST.
I don´t know what´s wrong when we drive to Copenhagen, but we never took the faster and the shorter way. We always had to come back, to ask infos to people in the cars next to us, we have to stop to consult the map....
My question is: "What´s wrong in using www.krak.dk?"
In the last 3 years I´ve played 4 times against Lyngby....and I´ve reached the gym from 4 different directions!!! At least next time I won´t have the pleasure to see a new way to go there, but who knows...???

The game was ok, we hadn´t played any game before that one and we hadn´t a regular rithme and a solid side-out, but at least we fought and we closed the match in 4 sets, in my opinion deserving those 2 points.

We had dinner downtown, hoping for some spare-ribes all-you-can-eat buffet....but we hadn´t!!! We have some good food and great sweed Swedish weatresses, but we had a bad surprise when we came back at the mini-bus. Some LOOSER broke the front window stealing Cluas´ bag.
Hopefully, they didn´t take my videocamera and my laptop!!!

The day after it was PVC. The gym´s roof had been painted and the gym turned to be one of the nicest of Denmark with a good lighting system.
Unfortunalty we lost 3-2, after leading 2-0 and a couple of match-balls...
I still have to see the video of the game, but the idea is that we played better than them, but too many serves mistakes kept PVC always close to us and inside the match.
Off course having played a game the day before didn´t help us so much, we were tired not physically but mentally, but it cannot be a excuse.
According to my opinion, we lost 2 points.

I saw your comment, I tryed to answer but you don't have any blog!!!
How you doing in Germany? Do you like the city? How is the team? Do you have good time? Do you like your practises?
I met last week the two guys from Australia who play in SK this year. Do you know who they are? I know that Aidan is a libero and Nigel is a huge center player, he's 2,04 m and he hits hard, really hard!!!
About my decision to change club, it happened before summer. This club came with an offer and with the opportunity to be assistent coach. I asked SK what were their plans for this season, and there were just 2 players 100% sure to play for the club.
That's why I switched, and I'm glad that after me has decided to join my club the libero and the second setter; Niels (from Aalborg) and Ulrik (from Middelfart) have moved to Aarhus and they prefered to play for us. This makes our team pretty good, even if we still have to reach the volleyball level we could have.

gli italiani all'estero, da un punto di vista pallavolistico sono apprezzati perchè veniamo fuori da scuole di pallavolo di buona levatura, e soprattutto abbiamo la posibilità di vedere ogni fine settimana partite di un livello altissimo. Ciò permette alla nostra cultura pallavolistica di arricchrsi e di poter avere così un metro di paragane reale su cosa ci sia tra il nostro livello e la serie A1.
Per esempio, quassù la serie più alta può essere paragonata ad una media B2....la differenza è che qui non sanno cosa ci sia più in su, non si immaginano cosa voglia dire vedere gente che serve palloni a 100km/h o che sta un secondo per aria, può vedere dov'è il muro e decidere dove attaccare. Ogni tanto lo si vede in televisione, ma non è lo stesso che essere a bordo campo o in tribuna!!!

Volevo informare che Ryanair dal primo di novembre inaugura una nuova rotta Pisa-Billund (80 km da Aarhus), 4 voli a settimana. Praticemente mi arriverete tra le braccia.
Da settembre abbiamo nuovamente cambiato casa, questa volta casa con 3 stanze, cucina bagno e laundry room. Ovviamente garage e giardino privato davanti ma soprattutto dietro casa.
C'era una foresta quando siamo entrati e finalmente giovedì siamo riusciti a piantare l'erba!!!
Quindi ora gli ospiti avranno la proprio stanza qualora avessero voglia di venire quassù.

Non è uno scherzo, le cose possono andare male anche nei paesi da fovola della Scandinavia dove tutto funziona e tutti fanno di tutto perchè le cose vadano bene....solo che il governo lo scorso mese ha deciso di chiedere più soldi ai comuni.

Ancora non hanno detto perchè vogliono più soldi, lo scorso anno hanno pagato tutti i loro debiti e cominciavano già a mettere da parte: voci dicono che vogliono costruire un ponte fino alla Germania. Lo so che già confiniamo con la Germania, ma il ponte lo vogliono fare dal punto più a sud dell'isola centrale dove c'è Odense...chissà perchè!?!?! D'altronde noi lo facciamo sullo Stretto. Già nessuno usa quello per andare in Svezia, costa una sassata e tutti vanno in metro. Neanche in treno, perchè c'è il metro che da Copenaghen arriva dall'altra parte a Malmoe!!!

Fatto sta che i comuni, non avendo possibilità di negoziare e/o di trattare la cifra da pagare, hanno ben deciso di tagliare fondi ad asili nido, scuole e case di riposo.

Ed ecco che i danesi si sono svegliati da quel limbo di perfezione nel quale si trovavano e si sono riversati nelle strade con striscioni, bandiere e pugni al cielo!!!

Sono 2 settimane che asili nido e scuole elementari, medie e superiori (che poi qui le scuole sono tutte insieme!!!) sono chiuse. A dire la verità non sono chiuse, essere sono aperte però i professori scioperano per protesta e i GENITORI occupano le scuole o impediscono ai professori di entrare!!!

E dice che andrà avanti per un'altra settimana.

Questa foto è stata scattata ieri davanti al comune, dove c'erano circa 20.000 insegnanti che protestavano perchè il comune facesse tagli altrove. Se si considera che in città siamo 300.000, si può dire che fossero davvero tanti.

La risposta del governo? "Coloro che protestano sono rivoluzionare e socialisti, che non fanno altro che dannegiare il proprio paese!!!"

Parole già sentite dalle nostre parti, o sbaglio? Non gli hanno chiamati comunisti solo pechè i comunisti non ci sono mai stati, ma paragonarli ai socialisti forse è ancora più grave!!!

It has been a pretty easy game so far, even if I admire their coach. [Hi Ole, it's always nice to beat a good friend, jejeje).

If I have to be honest I thought they were better, during the warm-up they were serving very well and this made me think that also their pass would have been pretty stable....It took few serves during the match to realize that my impression was wrong. Also their serves during the match have never been that good as the ones the made during warm-up....I hope the coach gets this suggestion to work on that!!!

Now we have two week-ends without games and I hope we'll use those 3 weeks of practise to improve our serve level, to make our pass better than how it is now and to be always more confident with our sideout and transition phases.

Our block has confirmed that at the moment is one of our best qualities (personally I did 5 blocks and touched 7 more hits)...

Well dear coach, (Ole, Im talking to you!!!), before the match you said that you knew all my tricks...but I'm wondering if you told them to your players....
I'm just kidding, the ItalianStylian one more time appeared in the court and it was as usual pretty fun!!!

This weekend we play on sunday, a strange away match: we play in Viby J, it's actually closer to my house than when we play home matches.

Yesterday I was in charge of the training, and I was satisfied with how we practise.
It has been the 3rd time I runned the practise, and after everytime I was satisfied about how we played, the intensity we put on the court and the energies everyone spent to do the exercises in the best way.
I wonder if every coach is as satisfyed as I've been after every practise. It would be interested to know if my players are thinking the same about my practises.

I hope what we did friday was what we needed to start to play a better volleyball, but if I have to be honest, if I can choose between playing ugly volleyball and winning the match or to play good volley and to loose the match, I'll always choose the first option.

My first experience in the 1. division hasn't been so good!!!
Yes, we won and we got the 2 points, and thath what counts at the moment, but our volleyball level was pretty low. Let say it better, it was lower according to the level of volleyball we can play. I didn't play a very good game, my blog wasn't that good and I hadn't a great tempo on the ball. It was the first game, and from the second set we played with a setter who has never practised with us today, but he was the turning point for us: a good set distribution and almost all our hits became points.

I should say that I was pretty impressed by Randers, for the first time since I'm in Denmark I've seen players from position 4 very very good in block-out....they won all the balls every time they tryed to hit block-out.
I hope also my team-mates would learn from this experience that there are different solutions apart of hitting the ball hard and I'll try to teach them those different solutions.

Well, the first game has gone and it seems that Randers could be one of the best teams in our group.
Juventus won too and now we are -10.....Bettini won the World Cup of cycling and 3 Italians were in the first 3 positions of the Motegi Grand Prix in the MotoGp (Capirossi, Rossi and Melandri). Great day for the Italian's fans, jejeje

Season 2006/07

Today the first match of the season.
Like always it a different day, we have practised almost 2 months and from now on things are different, there is no more time for experiments, there is no more time for excuses, there is no more time for favours....from now one, during the games we only have to find all the ways possible to score points. No matter how, no matter who, no matter if in legal ways or not, from now on our goal is to win!!!
We made a good team, everyone is looking at us as one of the bests clubs in 1.H....but we have to prove it, we have to show that we are good, or at least better than others. In my opinion, we still have to reach a good level of volleyball, we have good individualities but as the our sport is a team sport, from now on the team is the most important subject!!!

Personally, I'm pretty excited for this season, not only because we know which one is our goal, but specially because I'll play against new clubs, I'll see a lot of new faces, I'll see new gyms, new refs!!!

May be this is not the best thing to say in Denmark [but at the moment Jendel is not next to me] and I have to quote one of the best friends I've ever meet in my life to say it :

E per la quarta volta siamo Campioni del Mondo.

E' ancora difficile rendersi conto cosa voglia dire, ma è bello, per me che sono all'estero, sentire che tutti mi fanno i complimenti per la vittoria. Ovviamente non credo che in Italia la gente si faccia i complimenti a vicenda per questo straordinario successo.

E' andato tutto nel migliore dei modi, abbiamo avuto parecchia fortuna perchè a dire la verità siamo stati la squadra con la peggior condizione fisica, o meglio la squadra con meno velocità.
Eravamo lenti, prevedibili, poco agili, ma efficaci.
Non mi sembra che abbiamo sbagliato clamorose palle-gol, la maggior parte delle occasioni che abbiamo avuto l'abbiamo buttata dentro.

Ma una cosa mi dispiace, avevamo finalmente trovato uno stemma così carino, con lo scudetto, le tre stelline sui tre colori, la scritta FIGC piccola piccola ma visibile......ed ora dovremmo averne uno nuovo dato che dobbiamo aggiungere un'altra stella. Speriamo che non facciano una porcheria....

Purtroppo la finale me la sono dovuta beccare in Danimarca nel silenzio più assoluto, e scommetto che nessuno avrà fatto caso alla telecronaca (ma quando mai si ascolta quello che dicono??? n.d.r.), ma non appena il pallone calciato da Grosso ha toccato la rete della porta, avranno gridato?

I piú grandi intenditori di calcio ed amanti delle statistiche credo che abbiano giá capito di chi stia parlando, non é facile dimenticare un certo giocatore di calcio di fama mondiale dal nome Stig.

Stig TØFTING, un nome, una leggenda, uno che di calcio ne sa poco ma in quanto ad aggressivitá, forza fisica ed energia non é secondo a nessuno, "Stig, il mastino Danese".

Diciamoci la veritá, quanti hanno simpatizzato per la Danimarca solo per il fatto di poterlo vedere ancora all´opera?

Uno che al pallone da del Voi, ma in compenso alle caviglie degli avversari da del tu, colui che ringhia in faccia agli arbitri non appena osano fischiaregli un fallo, contro mettendo in discussione la sua buona fede.

Stig giocava qui ad Århus quando arrivai in Danimarca, ma per motivi non prettamente calcistici (sembrava che mettesse piú impegno bevendo nei pub e nelle successive risse piuttosto che in allenamento) durante la pausa invernale é stato mandato via.
Si é rimesso in gioco lo scorso campionato portando una squadra di serie B svedese nella massima serie nazionale (non so quanto sia stato merito suo...) e , dopo aver mendicato un posto in ogni squadra della Superliga danese la scorsa estate, si é dovuto accontentare di giocare a Randers (30km da Århus), appena retrocessa.

Ebbene, questo uomo a cui non piace attirare l´attenzione su di sé, ed i tatuaggi ne sono un giusto esempio, é con la sua squadra al comando della classifica, prossima alla promozione in Superliga, ed ha conquistato giovedí l´accesso alla finale della Coppa di Danimarca.

Io un paio di volte l´ho incrocato per strada ad Århus, [fa paura se pensi che ci devi giocare contro!!!] peró Tina mi ha sempre trattenuto dal fermalo, salutarlo e chissá, fargli i complimenti.
Dice che non usa, che non lo fa nessuno e che quindi é giusto che neanche io lo faccia, ma dopo questa sua nuova impresa, non ci sará niente e nessuno che mi impedirá di fare una foto insieme...

L´unico che me lo puó impedire sarebbe lui, e come fare a dirgli di no?!?!?

This time instead of talking about Volleyball's superstars, I talk about me.

This season is over and I just got the stats about the all season.
Personally it has been my best season ever, I've played all the matches, not because I earned this right day after day, practise after practise but, as all of you probably know, because there were just me and Brian as middle-blocker.

Last season I played the all games was the 1999/2000 ones: after this one for different reasons (studying in Spain and in Russia in 2001 and 2002; the military service during the '03/'04; last year I lost the whole pre-season) I always missed a lot of games.

But let the numbers talk:

171 total attempts, 87 points (51% efficiency), 19 mistakes and 13 times I've been blocked.

53% efficiency in side-out and 44% efficiency in transition.

I don't know how, but I made 35 blocks, 7 perfect digs and 3 quite good ones.
The most surprising numbers are the serve's ones: 156 serves, 5 aces and 29 effective ones.
I'm surprised that I served so much, may be because we had a good blocking rotations!!!

I wish a funny beach-volley summer to everyones and a great indoor summer to the ones who have the pleasure and the honour to play for their National teams.

Ci volevamo noi dall'estero per decidere questa partita, e nel mio piccolo ne sono felice perchè vedo la mia piccola croce sul simbolino elettorale diventare grande grande, capace di far sloggiare quei ladri e delinquenti che per 5 anni hanno fatto di tutto per arraffare il più possibile, per pararsi il culo in tutti i capi di imputazione in cui erano citati a giudizio, per favorire quella ristretta cerchia di imprenditori perchè potessero accaparrare il più possibile con il minimo investimento nel paese e nei lavoratori.

Oggi sono stato sintonizzato quasi tutto il giorno su BBCWorld e ci sono state delle interviste e dei commenti parecchio interessanti, ma su una cosa erano tutti d'accordo: finalmente viene mandato via colui che ha "garantito" una crescita ZERO nei passati quattro anni, colui che ha fatto solamente il suo di interesse e non quello degli italiani!!!

In questi giorni mi sono sintonizzato più del solito su Rai Uno, e di interviste ne ho viste abbastanza e parecchie, fatte per strada, mi hanno veramente fatto ribrezzo.

A chi dice che vota a destra perchè la sua famiglia è tradizionalmente di destra io rispondo che il voto non è una tradizione, è un modo di concepire il proprio presente ma soprattutto il futuro, e se alcune volte la destra può aver rappresentato la migliore soluzione, ciò non vuol dire che sempre debba esserlo, e lo stesso discorso va fatto per la sinistra!

A coloro che dicevano che di politica non se ne intendevano, io rispondo che la politica non è un teorema, non è un problema da risolvere, non è neanche una scienza, la politica è il presente, è la visione che si ha della società, è la proprio visione che si ha della propria città, della propria regione, della propria Nazione, e in base a questo si sceglie il partito che più si avvicina a tali prospettive, a tali idee.
Se da una parte sono soddisfatto che ci sia stato questo cambiamento al governo, dall'altra mi meraviglio come abbiamo dovuto faticare così tanto per ottenerlo dopo la ex-maggioranza ha fatto/non fatto di tutto per il nostro Paese, dopo che ha detto/non detto/smentito/ritrattato tutto il possibile per non essere riconfermata.
Com'è possibile che il 50% degli italiani abbia dato il voto a berlusclown? Come si può essere così politicamente ignoranti? Com'è possibile che il nostro popolo sia così poco acculturato?

Le mie risposte? semplici.

Perchè ci si limita a cercare informazione attraverso i TG, ci si preoccupa di più su chi è stato nominato e/o su chi sia stato eliminato la sera prima al reality show piuttosto che chiedersi cosa stia succendo al governo o in parlamento; perchè è più importante sapere chi giocherà la domenica piuttosto che cercare di capire come mai siamo da anni lo zimbello d'Europa, come mai la nostra economia non è cresciuta, come mai i prezzi sono aumentati, come mai ci sono sempre interessi più alti sui mutui, come mai le più grandi aziende italiane nel mondo hanno perso il loro primato o hanno chiuso per fallimento.

C'è in Italia una carenza di "voglia di sapere" che è enorme, le librerie sono viste come un luogo nel quale non sappiamo muoverci, come un territorio ostile.
Credo che solo con una società civile più acculturata si potrà avere governi migliori, perchè agli intelligenti non si raccontano favole per ottenere il loro voto, non si fanno promesse senza spiegare come realizzarle, non si sparano "bombe" dell'ultim'ora per ottenere più rappresentati in Parlamento.
E' l'ora che si cominci questo processo perchè di Berlusclown una ci basta e avanza.

Ho avuto il piacere di seguire il dibattito televisivo, e da una parte ho visto un politico che cercava di spiegare quale fosse la sua strategia, da un'altra parte qualcuno che non rispondeva alle domande, rispondeva alle domande che gli erano state fatte in precedenza e descriveva il nostro paese come il più bello del mondo e dove tutto funziona.

Beh, io ho già votato, il mio diritto lo ho esplitato circa una settimana fa, ma oggi ho sentito il bisogno di rendere pubblica la mia posizione ed affermo che sono un fiero COGLIONE che ha dato il suo voto alla sinistra!!!

stamani mi sono svegliato e mi sono deciso a rispondere ai vari e-mail che stanno nella mia casella di posta e che aspettavano una degna risposta!!!

Non voglio dire che sono rimasto scioccato dalla notizia del tuo matrimonio, anzi ne sono molto felice per la tua scelta e per la strada che hai voluto seguire, però devo dire che è arrivata del tutto inaspettata.
L'ultima volta che ci siamo sentiti eri in Russia ed ancora non avevi deciso quale fossero i tuoi piani nel breve e nel lungo periodo, e poi mi arriva questa notizia..."mi sono sposata l'11 febbraio".
Beh, congratulazioni!!!!

Ora io mi domando, hai te per caso una statistica di quante russe sono rimaste o sono tornate a vivere in Italia dopo aver fatto il Tempus? Per me si supera abbondantemente la soglia dell'70% al che proporrei addirittura di non chiamarlo più solamente "Progetto Tempus", ma "Agenzia matrimoniale Tempus, con la possibilità di frequentare corsi universitari".
Chissà come sarà contenta l'Unione Europea!!!

Qui la primavera tarda ad arrivare, siamo ad aprile ed ancora dobbiamo salire sopra i 10 gradi....
Certo, rispetto ad una settimana fa le cose sono migliorate: da inizio anno siamo stati costantemente sotto zero, quindi i 7-9° che abbiamo al momento sono uno sbalzo di temperatura di +10....

Non buttiamogli via, in queste condizioni è sempre bene essere positivi, non sputare mai sul cibo che ti viene offerto. Certo, insieme a questi gradi è arrivato un vento che non ha dell'umano: in bici contro vento ci vogliono le stesse energie che ci vuole per poter scollinare le "Croci di Calenzano"....la cosa più straordinaria è andare in discesa contro vento: se non si pedala ci si ferma!!! Anche queste sono esperienze!

qual'è il senso della foto? E' il mio ultimo acquisto, perchè io sono dell'idea che il sole e la bella stagione vanno chiamati, bisogna fargli sentire apprezzati e ben voluti, quindi nel mio piccolo ho mandato unsegnale al sole, che io sono pronto ad accoglierlo e a dargli delle belle soddisfazioni, ejhejeh

One more time Rome, one more time was "Inno di Mameli" (our national song) the one who 10.000 people heard during the winning ceremony.

Mission complete: this year we get all the European Cups. i was sure that this would have been the first time that all the 6 European cups have been won by 6 clubs coming from the same nation, but this morning I read that it also happened in 1997....

I thought we did someting incredible this year and that's why I felt disappointed for few seconds reading that it had already happened, just the time to read thet WE did it in 1997.

90s has been our years, it was the period were Italy was the team to beat and in 1998 we won our 3rd World Cup in a row.

Those were the age of great players, Bernardi Papi Giani Fei Gardini and others were in Japan for the 1998 World Cup and once they retired we still have to win something on a world level...(damn Brasilians!!!)

Well, I just saw the few parts of the games that Eurosport showed today, but I've seen an awesome Alessandro Fei, 33 points, best server and MVP

For sure if they lost only one set in 2 games, all of them have played good volleyball, and I'm sure our captain will put the same energy to make that the Italian flag would be on the top of every other once!!!

There have been 5 European Cups Final Four this year...and we won 5!!!

I don't remember who has been the first one to win, but they all deserve to be in my blog, even if i wonder how much they care, hehehe

Last week-end in Cannes Pallavolo Sirio PERUGIA brought the 5th Cup "at home".

In Cannes the girls beated RC CANNES 3-1 securing the Women's Indesit European Champions' League, with personal awards for Mirka Francia as Best Spiker and Helia Rogerio de Souza as Best Setter.

This week-end, for the Indesit European Champions' League 2005/2006 Final Four Alberto CISOLLA, here in the picture interviewed by the legendary Andrea "Zorro" ZORZI, comes back to Palaeur in Rome where he won the last European Championship and the personal award as MVP of the competion.

Living in a RED LIGHT ZONE

I guess a lot of you know that I moved in a new apartment a couple of weeks ago, the house is really nice, a lot of space, a lot of light, warm and in a GREAT neighbourhood.

In a few words, I'm living in the ÅRHUS' RED LIGHT ZONE, few of those professionists has a kind of club, as you can see in the first picture, but others prefere to keep it anonymous and doing from home.

May be the clubs' owners have few notions of marketing and they try their best to promote their business, may be the others are at the beginning of their careers, may be they want to try how it works, if they can handle the business, if they are good enough to have a club.... who knows!?!?

By the way, as far as the prostitution in Denmark is legal, I don't want to judge anything or anyone within this comment, I don't even care about those girls who decide that this is the best way for them to make money, I just want to tell all my friend that anytime you'll have to wait too much for your turn, or after you'd joined one of those clubs, you can step up to my apartment, just to say hello, to have a coffe, to smoke a sigarette...well, you know what I mean!!!

If anyone is interested about how it feels to have hookers in the basement of the building where you live, my answer is: THAT'S GREAT, IT'S LIKE LIVING IN AMSTERDAM

Oggi vorrei approfittare di questo blog per salutare il sig. Riccardo Zannoni, meglio conosciuto come Zannax.
Dopo vari mesi di silenzio, ma d'altronde non era neanche una novità, oggi mi è arrivata una sua risposta e mi è rincresciuto e dispiaciuto molto dover leggere quello che mi ha scritto.
Devo dire che se la probabile scusa per il suo plonungato silenzio
è originale, (chi direbbe che ha rischiato l'amputazione del dito in causa ad unincidente non meglio definito?!?!?)

RIFLETTENDO sulla tua posizione da singol, avresti cercato nuove avventure e nove tecniche di masturbazione a causa delle quali, in seguito ad una errata esecuzione dell'atto sopra citato, hai rischiato il pollice destro, MA dato che hai avuto la fortuna di avere una figlia con una ragazza che dici di amare, credo che questa ipotesi sia da scartare;

CONSIDERATO che il livello pallavolistico, cestistisco e calcettistico (???) in cui giochi sia difficile che ci sia qualcuno che abbia la potenza per colpire, lanciare e/o calciare la palla ad una velocità tale da poter causare la lacerazione del primo metacarpo, POTREI considerare la tua affermazione veritiera;

DOPOTUTTO, guardando bene le immagini si vede nei tuoi occhi una certa passione per l'ignoto, per lo sconosciuto, per la ricerca di nuove esperienze ed avventure, sempre però cercando di mantenere i piedi per terra, mi vedo COSTRETTO ad accettare la tua affermazione fattami recapitare circa il tuo grave incidente.

Per quanto riguarda il resto, la pallavolo potrebbe andare meglio, al momento siamo al 5° posto, e fuori dai play-off scudetto, ma domani giochiamo contro la 4° e siamo pronti per giocare tutto e raggiungerli in classifica.

Con la Tina le cose vanno sempre bene, diciamo pure meglio, giusto giusto la settimana scorsa ci siamo trasferiti in una nuova casa e a giorni saranno disponibile le foto in rete, per le quali non mancherò di farti ricevere il dovuto link.

Per quel che riguarda la prossima volta che ci vedremo, noi torniamo in Italia in vacanza per 15 giorni, ultima settimana di giugno e prima di luglio, arriviamo a Firenze's Airport domenica 25 alle 9:25...e noi di tempo a disposizione per cazzeggiare, ma soprattutto per andare fuori a cena, ne avremo (secondo i piani della Tina dovremmo cenare fuori quasi ogni sera...vediamo fino a quanto bastano i soldi...:-))

Don't worry,
I'm not thinkng of retiring, but after yesterday victory, I've won against all the Elit-division's team in Denmark.
It took 2 years to leave the court with a victory in the pocket againt Marienlyst, but we finally did it.
For sure if we'll have the pleasure to meet them one more time this year, this doesn't mean that we'll let them take the game!!!

Yesterday game was exiting , every ball was important, every point, from the first to the last, was played with the same intensity and energy, and that's almost why we reached the 25 points before them.

I don't want to make any comment, too many persons have done it and every one has done it from his own point of view, but I just want to focus on what normally happens during every match: yesterday I enjoyed a wonderful "talk-show" under the net...
It was particulary animated by Sasha and Jordan (I don't know if someone else was doing it, but unfortunatly I've to sit on the bench when I'm back row!!)
Nothing to be mad about, this is the beauty of volleyball: there is no physical contact, but you can show your superiority in many other "legal" ways.
By the way, as soon as Sasha made a mistake, they were so fast in making comments, (he was doing it as well), but at the same time they were as fast in picking up their bags and leaving the gym after the ref declared the end of the game...

Strange saturday

It really was a strange saturday. Why? First because we won our first match of the 2006, and it should be enough to make this day special, but It happened something to me that really made it particular:

For the first time of my life I served under the net.
It was surrealistic: my first serve of the match was an
ace, my second one was under the net...and the ball was almost flotting while it was going to touch the 1st meter ot Holte's side.
I was shocked, I didn't know whether to be mad for the fatal mistake or just laugh.

According to the wordlwide known un-written rule, next match I bring a crate of Tuborg for the team. Actually in Italy we bring cakes for everybody, but I want to integrate myself in the society and I'll respect their traditions.

But that's not everything, as soon as I was back home from gym I checked the Hockey Olympic results and I wasn't believing my eyes: Canada - Switzerland 0-2
In the evening Finland won and dominated the game against Cech Republic and that's why on Canada-Finland my money went to the Scandinavian country, and nordicbet is paying it 3.95...

We had to wait 5 matches to have some points and to win a game, a way too much!!

There's not too much to say, we had prepared the match pretty well during the week, we had a tactic that worked pretty well and we were mentally readier than we were in the previous games.

We served well, but mostly we touched a lot of ball, we digged so many hits and we turned in point quite all the transition ball we had: that's the team I want to see!!

Next week it's gonna be hard, we have Marienlyst at home next sunday and we go to Middelfart tuesday: not even at the olympic games you play 2 games in 3 days.

As Aalborg won in Middelfart this week-end, our way to the semi-finals is tuffer now, but we know we can fight with every team and playing a good volley we can quite sure reach the play-offs!!!

Finally Hockey starts at the Olympic Winter Games.

Since 11:30 I'm connected on the different TV channels to see all the matches.
At work I saw Kazakistan - Sweden on TV2 Sverige, Italy - Canada on ZDF (D), and since I came back home, there's only space for TV2 ZULU....

Why does an Italian guy, from the center part of Italy, hundreds of km from the big mountain love, loves hockey? I guess it's impossible to answer, simply something inside of me makes me driving crazy for this sport!!!

As i said to my friend, we have a team in the Olympic thanks to be the hosting country (we have even problems in entering the European Championship :-))....but loosing only 7 - 2 against Canada we can consider a big step forward for this sport. Some sport web site define this result as an Honored Loss, ejehejhehj

It's not easy to sit in front of this computer and try to explain what's happening in our team.

Well, I know what's happening, I know why we are not playing as we have done before Christmas, I know why our volley-ball level has not improved so much since the beginning of the season, but I cannot say it in this blog, I have to wait until the season is over.
For sure we are going to discuss it with us, we have to find out what are the problems and where those problems are, and we must try to do our best to find a solution and to play volley-ball again.

For someone it could sounds impossible, but I really believe that we can beat every team in Denmark: we have the personal skills; we have good motivations; we have, or better, we don't have any pressure for the goals we want to reach and mostly, we have good players.

Was you expecting some comment on how the match was? Well, Alborg was just serving, committing on the center, digging some balls and waiting for our mistakes. They mostly play with the running-spiker in 4, some balls with the middleblocker, a couple of pipe and 2/3 balls from 1.
The game was boring and there was not an high volleyball level, and for sure we contributed to it!!!

Lasciamo stare che noi abbiamo perso la 5a partita su 5 nel 2006, vincendo solamente 2 set in totale (anche la mia sorella ha fatto di meglio), vorrei approfittare per fare i complimenti all'organizzazione dei Gioci Olimpici.
Per il momento da quassù sento parlare solo di sport, di risultati e delle prestazioni degli atleti: nessuna parola su (dis)organizzazione, problemi logisitici e di spostamenti tra impianti per spettatori, addetti ai lavori e atleti.

Sembra che per una volta non sia stata la classica "Organizzazione all'Italiana". Come fare a spiegare cosa sia? Se non sei italiano o se non hai vissuto in Italia, è difficile spiegare questo fenomeno che esiste solo da noi, altrimenti come avrebbe potuto un delinquente come Berlusclown diventare Presidente del Consiglio?

Ringrazio Eurosport che ha cancellato tutti i palinsesti per seguire 24h su 24 le Olimpiadi. Essendo il canale per i paesi scandinavi, danno molto più risalto alle gare di biathlon e del trampolino con una diretta continua. Da noi tali sport sono quasi ignoti...forse viene mandata una sintesi dopo la chiusura dell'ultima gara giornaliera.

Comunque la gioia più grande di questa domenica è stata la spettacolare prestazione offerta dalla Juve in quel di San Siro, dove ancora una volta l'Inter ha avuto modo di imparare come si giochi a calcio, dato che ancora non avevano assimilato le lezioni che gli abbiamo impartito negli ultimi anni, quindi che tornino alla Pinetina con zainetto in spalla e carico di libri in braccio, perchè sono stati "rimandati" a settembre!!!
Coloro che dovevano giocare il jolly, che dovevano iniziare la rimonta, che dovevano riaprire il campionato, non hanno fatto niente, anzi hanno sofferto come cani nei primi 15 minuti del primo tempo, hanno fatto capolino in avanti ma non hanno mai dato l'impressione di sovrastarci.

L'esultanza di tutto la squadra dopo il gol di Alex è stata impressionante, difficilmente visibile in una partita di campionato, ma credo che parecchi siano d'accordo nel dire che vogliamo vedere questa squadra giocare con lo stesso carattere e con la stessa continuità anche, e soprattutto, in Champions League.

Cambio di casa

Dal primo di marzo cambiamo casa. Perchè?
- Primo perchè questa ci sta cominciando a stare stretta - vedi foto http://fotoalbum1.aruba.it/fotoalbum.dieghino.com/outer.html?Denmark/Casachr32Risskov
- Secondo perchè Tina non studia più quindi avremmo dovuto lasciare questi appartamenti per studenti entro luglio
- Terzo perchè ci avviciniamo al centro, guadagnando preziosi minuti per andare e tornare dal lavoro (Tina è a 10 minuti a piedi da dove lavora, ed io a 5 minuti in bici dall'hotel)

La nuova casa è di 56 m2, con 2 stanze, cucina, bagno e un piccolo terrazzino. La ragazza che ci vive è stata trasferita a Londra per lavoro per 2 anni, quindi per un bel po' di tempo abbiamo una sistemazione abbastanza definita, in più in settimana a Tina offriranno un nuovo contratto dove lavora attualmente, anche se ancora non sappiamo se sia a tempo determinato o no, cmq è sempre un interrogativo sul nostro futuro che viene risolto.

A casa nuova ci sarà bisogno di un armadio nuovo, di un tavola e di un tavolino da mettere davanti al divano.
Guardando in internet già abbiamo trovato quello che ci interesserebbe, cmq appena verranno fatti gli acquisti aggiornerò tutti con foto e dettagli.

Al momento in cui ci saremo stabiliti farò una serie di foto grandangolo per dare una idea di come ci sistemeremo.
Io sono contentissimo, il cambiare di casa mi eccita, è un po' come prepare le valigie prima di un viaggio.

Quasi sempre i preparativi sono molto più eccitanti ed entusiasmanti dell'evento stesso!!!

third silver medal in 12 months

It took a lot to post this picture.
I was really upset after losing the third final. I really thought we could have won this gold medal this time, but the Gentofte this time has been really better, nothing to say about.

The good think is that was really fun to play that match, we scored really good points, sometimes we really played good volleyball, as in transition as in side-out, but we also made unforced errors which gave Gentofte the few points they needed to be i champion.

In the while we lost two other games, both 3-0 and I don't know what's happening. We played well until the 20s but at the end of the sets something happens. I cannot call lost of concentration, insecurity, sufficiency....I can NOT explain, but we'll show that we deserve to be where we are and we'll fight on everyball until the last one of the season.

C'ho messo parecchio tempo per aggiornare il blog, sono passate due settimana dalla finale persa e sinceramente non avevo grande voglia di commentare la terza finale persa in 12 mesi.
Da un punto di vista personale ho giocato veramente bene, tanti mi hanno fatto i complimenti per come abbia giocato e quando sono uscito dal campo non avevo nessun rimpianto, purtroppo però ti ritrovi una medaglia d'argento al collo e vedi gli altri festeggiare, ed è difficile spiegare quello che provavo, perchè avevo fatto il massimo, ogni volta che ero stato chiamato in causa ho risposto presente, garantendo qualità e spettacolo.

Nel frattempo abbiamo ricominciato la seconda fase e abbiamo perso altre 2 partite, tutte e due per 3-0...non siamo più capaci di vincere. In ogni set perdiamo 5-6 punti consegutivi, e questo vuol dire che se eravamo pari ci troviamo a dover affrontare rimonte difficili, e se eravamo in vantaggio in un paio di minuti ci troviamo sotto di nuovo, il che rende la situazione psicologica moooooolto dura da affrontare.

Purtroppo il nostro allenator enon ci aiuta, chiunque sia a vedere le partite si accorge che nei time-out non dice nulla, o meglio, dice qualcosa ma è sempre la stessa cosa che dice dall'inizio, quindi è come se non dicesse niente.
Comunque continueremo a lottare e proveremo a toglierci altre soddisfazioni, perchè è nostro dovere dare il massimo fino all'ultimo pallone di questa stagione.

Il 12 gennaio si è concretizzato ciò che molti da tempo predicevano.
"quando ti tagli questi capelli?" è stata la domanda pèiù frequente che mi sia stata rivolta negli ultimi 2 mesi, e sempre compariva una certa smorfia di disgusto in viso, soprattutto dopo che ho cominciato ad usare un laccio elastico per tenergli lontano dagli occhi.

Beh, non crediate che ho ascoltato questi commenti di basso gusto, solo che quel benedetto laccettino non reggeva più, (e la colpa non era del laccio). Quando giocavo erano più le volte che me lo dovevo risistemare dopo un salto che non.....quindi decisione drastica e ZAC!!!

7 days to the Final

This week is going to be endless...

It's hard not to think at this game, which one should be the best strategy, what should we do, how should we prepare the game, but I cannot even spend all week thinking on that, otherwise I'm turning crazy.

It's the third final of my entire volleyball career and for the first time I'm in the starting line-up and I really want to feel what it means to win a trophy, this time I don't want to see another team celebrating in front of us.

Last week talking with a player of our female volleyball team, which is in the Final too, she was saying that it would be exiting to be one more time in a final as she hasn't played one since a long time...this is the beuaty of playing volleyball in Denmark: in a way or another every player has played a Final. I guess I would have had the same opportunities of playing a lot of finals if I've had played handball in Italy...

I don't even have words to express those feelings who are in me at this moment, may be also my English is not that good to explain in the highest details all those things, but I guess next monday it would be easier to free my mind and let the words come out of my hands!!!

I hope there would be a lot of people watching the game and hopefully, how usually happens, neutral viewers will support the weakest team. With all this crowd supporting as, here it is one more good reason to beat Gentofte.

Stamani ho guadato sul televideo della RAI alcuni risultati, e poi così per sbaglio ho voluto aprire la pagine 103, quella delle notizie.
Leggo un paio di pagine e vedo che Fassino è stato intercettato telefonicamente mentre parla con qualcuno di una Banca, non mi importa quale e nè mi importa chi sia, però poi leggo che ci sono affronti gratuiti da ogni parte del mondo politico: Pera, Casini, e tutti i vari Ministri, segretari, sotto-segretari ad infangare la sinistra.

Io in questa sede non voglio giudicare se Fassino abbia avuto delle colpe, se si sia avvantaggiato loscamente o qualsiasi illegalità abbia commesso, non sono come tanti altri che vedono nel proprio leader politico l'INFALLIBILITA' fatta persona, accusando gli oppositori di voler solamente gettar fango su persone oneste e perbene che diligemente svolgono il proprio lavoro.

- Per la cronaca, ho trovato un commento di un certo Stefano Rossi sull'argomento che ha appieno colto il senso della cosa "...FASSINO ha forse fatto un errore POLITICO nell'interessarsi ad Unipol e nel fidarsi di Consorte, dal punto di vista GIUDIZIARIO la telefonata è stata giudicata IRRILEVANTE --> ERGO smettiamola di fare del qualunquismo paragonando dei fatti penalmente rilevanti (notizie di reato, condanne, prescrizioni "auto-indotte", "auto-assoluzioni" etc) di un Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri che DEVE (e sottolineo il DEVE) risponderne a TUTTI I CITTADINI, a degli errori politici di un segretario di partito che DEVE (e risottolineo il DEVE) risponderne soltanto ai suoi iscritti. Quello che mi ha fatto pensare tutto il giorno è stata la constatazione che la sinistra non ha medialità, non sa usare i mezzi di comunicazione di massa, e sembra che neanche Le importi.
Durante questi anni quante sono le cazzate dette o fatte dal dipendente Berlusconi e da tutti gli altri nostri dipendenti in Governo o in Parlamento? Tante e innumerevoli, [le migliori sono raccolte in http://dieghino79.blogspot.com/2005/11/berlusclown.html], ma mai che ci sia stata una denuncia aperta, ferma e intransigente della sinistra italiana. Erano addirittura i giornali o le riviste politiche estere a dare maggiore risalto alle assurdità che il nano di Arcore diceva piuttosto che i giornali nazionali.

"Ma come facevano? Tutti i giornali sono in mano a Berlusconi!!!"

Su questo vi posso dare atto, leggendo il libro "Regime" di M. Travaglio mi sto un po' aggiornando su tutte le vittime della censura Forzista, ma ciò non vuol dire che non ci debbano essere altri canali sui quali poter dire ciò che si pensa sena paura di montaggi, di tagli e di censure.
Io mi sono fatto un BLOG in 5 minuti, posso scrivere liberamente quello che voglio, non ho nessuno che controlla il testo dei miei messaggi e li vaglia attentamente prima "della messa in onda": perchè a sinistra nessuno si è proposto di costruire un sito da usare quale piattaforma libera di informazione, in modo da poter commentare senza problemi ciò che ogni giorno succedeva nei palazzi e nei corridoi dei palazzi romani?
Il blog di Beppe Grillo è sicuramente uno dei siti più visitati giorno, è stato premiato per la qualità dell'informazione e l'accuratezza dei dati: perchè nessuno nei vari partiti ha intrapreso una iniziativa simile? Ci lamentiamo perchè non abbiamo spazio nei telegiornali, perchè le interviste sono tagliate, perchè nelle trasmissioni ci sono pochi minuti per rispondere, allora che aspettiamo a trovare altri modi per far sapere il nostro punto di vista?

I calciatori stessi hanno capito che questa è la strada, erano stanchi di sentirsi mettere in bocca parole che non avevano detto; erano sempre intimoriti di fronte a un microfono perchè ogni minima sbavatura veniva ingigantita in misura tale che neanche loro erano più consapevoli di ciò che pensavano. Rendetevi conto, giornalmente i calciatori o le società non rilasciano più interviste, ma pubblicano sui propri siti i loro commenti, i loro pareri, le loro idee. E se ci riescono persone quali i calciatori, vogliamo forse insinuare che i nostri politici sono più ignoranti di questa razza qui?!?!?!

Voglio approfittare di questo mio BLOG per poter ringraziare tutti coloro che ho incontrato in questa mia breve permanenza in Italia: anche se per voi è stato poco, per me ha significato tanto poter rivedere facce conosciute e persone a me care.

Come qualcuno di voi ha già avuto modo di dirmi, è in questi momenti che si vede chi può essere considerato un amico, e in questa settimana posso dire di aver conosciuto molto più a fondo i miei amici di quanto non abbia fatto in diversi anni: il poco tempo che abbiamo avuto a disposizione non è stato solamente utilizzato in minchiate e stupidaggini come ai bei vecchi tempi. Mi ha fatto tanto piacere conversare, scambiare i nostri punti di vista e discutere sul presente e sul futuro nostro e del "Vostro" paese.

Certamente non ho avuto modo di poter incontrare tutti, le feste natalizie hanno tolto preziose serate da poter essere utilizzate per una uscita ed un paio di bevute, ma spero che i contatti possano essere mantenuti ugualmente a distanza.

Un saluto a tutti con l'augurio che anche voi abbiate avuto piacere in incontrarmi.....e se non lo fosse stato, state tranquilli che passeranno diversi mesi prima che torni giù!!!!

I saw a lot of big red eyes after our victory in Middelfart and I'm personally sorry for those guys, they are nice and good, but this time it's me and my team mates who are celebrating and drinking as pigs!!!

I don't think that yesterday won the best team , but won the team that mostly wanted the final. After the 0-3 of 8 days ago, we had nothing to lose, we could only do some things better and we did everything we were able to do and Middelfart made more mistakes, especially in the most important moments of the sets.

We didn't forced anyone to go to play to Middelfart, even if I completly understand their choise, but thanks to those 3 players we found some special energies and motivations which are bringing us in the Final!!!

Yesterday I heard many times the same question: "Who has been the best player in the game?" Personally I can't answer not because I'm in the team and it's not polite to judge our team-mates, but just because I find it really difficult to say who has been the best. We all did our job and we all made stupid mistakes, but being TOGHETER (thank you Makoto!!!) we all find the way to turn the match on our side...

Would it have been better to win 3-0? It's difficult to say, but after being 2-0 the tie-break was open to any end and the one we had was so sweet, special, unique, great, grateful...and in a way a little BIG revenge!!!

My Christmas is going to be close to be perfect, and this victory is a great Christmas gift.

A 4 giorni dal volo mi dovevo trovare a letto mezzo malato....
Lo sapevo che la settimana di ferie in Italia mi avrebbe fatto tornare in Danimarca più stanco di quando sia partito, però questa sorpresina non ci voleva!!!
La cosa positiva è che non ho la febbre, però i sintomi sono gli stessi...

L'altro giorno ho controllato la mia scheda Wind, e ovviamente è stata disattivata dopo non averla usata per un anno.

Comunque un modo di mettermi in contatto lo troverò, a meno che non vogliate volontariamente nascondervi e rendervi irreperibile, a quel punto accetterò la vostra posizione e me ne ricorderò...Tranquilli, non è una minaccia, non ci saranno vendette e spedizioni punitivi, ma solo una promessa!!!

Ed ecco che scompare il numero 0 nella casella dei punti per l'Original Marines Arzano.
Dopo 5 giornate dove il pronostico ci aveva sempre dati per sfavoriti, ecco che arrivano gli impegni alla nostra portata....ed il compito della giornata è stato portato a termine, mettendo in cassa 3 punti.

Io non ho potuto vedere la partita, nè sentire nessun commento, quindi non giudicherò sul gioco, sullo stile, sul livello pallavolistico e agonistico della partita, però guardando i numeri sembra che oggi le americane abbiano tirato la carretta in attacco, grazie ad una percentuale in ricezione altissima.
Beh, 80% di positività ed un 75% di perfezione non sono poco....Se non altro la Nazionale ti ha aiutato a migliorare in questo fondamentale, vero? 20 palle ricevute: ti cercano in battuta o sei te che vai a rubarle alle altre per incrementare il tuo tabellino!!!!

La prossima dove siete? Puntiamo a portare altri punti a casa? Poi, mi sa che non ti chiederò più consigli sulle scommesse, avevi dei feeling che Jesi vincesse in casa, ed hanno incassato un 3-0 duro da digerire in terra marchigiana, ejhjehejh.....

Io sono arrivato a 3 conclusioni, prima però è necessario che anche voi siate d'accordo sul fatto che lui controlli i mezzi di informazioni, altrimenti le ie conclusioni sembrerebbero senza una base solida:

Lui è un imprenditore scadente, dato che si è circondato di giornalisti e dipendenti incapaci, che non sono nemmeno buoni a riportare esattamente le sue interviste...
Lui è un politico scadente, dato che non riesce mai a farsi capire, eppure quando parla sembra tanto convinto di quello che dice, nonostante ciò è sempre costretto a correggersi, a spiegarsi meglio, a correggere i giornalisti e gli altri politici che lo fraintendono
Lui è il nostro salvatore, siamo tutti in un grande Matrix e lui è il nostro Kanu Reeves, solo che purtroppo i Comunisti che controllano il mondo hanno l'esclusiva sui nostri cervelli, sul nostro modo di pensare e condizionano il nostro punto di vista. Speriamo che sia capace di far vedere a tutti ciò che lui vede, speriamo un giorno di poter vedere quale sia la vera realtà

Per la cronoca, martedì ci sono state le votazioni comunali e regionali quassù. Il sindaco è cambiato, ha vinto il il partito di sinistra, i Socialdemocratici ed ha mandato a casa la Sindaco del partito di destra, che si chiama Sinistra. Non chiedetemi il perchè, dato che in un anno non ho ancora conosciuto nessuno che me lo abbia saputo spiegare.
Però non meraviglimoci, anche noi al governo abbiamo un partito la Casa delle Libertà, ma mi sa che le libertà se le sono prese tutte per loro!!!

Ci ho messo un po' ad impostare le foto, ma come potete vedere la panoramica ha richiesto abbastanza lavoro, ed ancora non è completata...
Si trovnao nel mio fotoalbum, http://fotoalbum.dieghino.com/, e mi sembra ovvio dire che siano sotto la sezione Denmark!!!

Ottimo fine settimana, finalmente ho visto una città Danese. Che vuol dire? Che Copenaghen è una città. Per poterlo spiegare ho bisogno dell'inglese, perchè con l'italiano è difficile fare questa distinzione: Copenaghen is a city, Århus is the biggest town in Denmark.

Questa è la differenza sostanziale: nonostante ad Århus ci siano più di 300.000 abitanti, la mentalità è quella di un paesino di campagna. I negozi chiudono alle 5, i dottori non ricevono pazienti dopo le 4, il sabato pomeriggio è tutto chiuso, la gente esce solo il fine settimana...

Non fraintendete, non è brutto stare qui, il ritmo di vita è ottimale, rilassante ma non noioso, però dopo essere cresciuto tra Firenze e Prato, alle volte si sente la mancanza di una uscita infrasettimanale, andare per negozi il sabato pomeriggio (anche se da quando ci sono i Gigli come vicini di casa, il più delle volte lo shopping era serale, ehehejh)

Fine settimana a Copenaghen

Sarà difficile crederlo, ma venerdì per la prima volta andrò a Copenaghen, vedendo qualcosa in più di quello che non sia la stazione/aeroporto e le palestre.

Approfittando dei vantaggi che offre il mio lavoro, io e Tina staremo due notti in questo splendido Hotel 4 stelle Radisson SAS (http://www.scandinavia.copenhagen.radissonsas.com), l'hotel più grande della Danimarca.

Al momento sono nel mezzo dei preparativi per la valigia, devo cenare e fare la borsa per andare a giocare (quarti di finale di Coppa di Danimarca).....mi manca tempo quindi un saluto a tutti

Ieri verso le 14:20 accendevo il computer, aprivo MSN Messenger e ci trovavo un certo Livi Francesco [qualcuno di voi dovrebbe conoscerlo, o per lo meno si ricorderanno di lui] e stavamo parlando del culo sfacciato che aveva avuto il milan il sabato sera, dove con 2,5 tiri voluti nello specchio della porta, è riuscito a fare 3 gol....ma questo è un altro discorso!!!
Più che altro mi rammaricavo che quest'anno io, dalla Danimarca, non ci capisco un cazzo su come si stia svolgendo il campionato italiano di calcio. A dire la verità ancora mi mancano i passaggi logici per i quali Treviso e Ascoli siano in serie A, ma posso arrivarci considerando le vicende Torino e Genoa, però se provate a chiedermi di nominare almeno 2 giocatori di Ascoli, Treviso, Chievo, Cagliari, Messina, Lecce, Parma.....le cose si complicano.
Fatto sta che gli chiedo quali possano essere i risultati di alcune partite della domenica, che io avrei azzeccato solo piazzandoci una tripla, ed il soggetto sopra nominato, tale Francesco Livi, in scioltezza mi consiglia un sistemino di 5 partite.

Dovete capire che io, disperato, dopo numerosi tentativi andati a vuoto, ero rimasto con 5 corone sul mio account di Nordicbet.com, quindi gli do fiducia e ancora non posso credere che abbia beccato 300 corone.

Conclusione: va considerata una botta di culo incredibile o veramente il Livi sa qualcosa di calcio, solo che per motivi fisici non è riuscito a dimostrarlo in ambienti più grandi di Mezzana?

Non ti preoccupare, anche se siete ancora a 0, avete incontrato le più forti, quelle che dovrebbero perdere punti solo negli scontri diretti.
Se dalla prossima partita le cose dovrebbero sembrare più facili, o per lo meno non così complicate, da un altro punto di vista sono queste le partite più difficili, perchè la pressione è più alta e le scusanti per eventuali sconfitte più difficili da trovare.

Io purtroppo non ho potuto vedere nessuna partita, addirittura sabato scorso io stavo giocando alla stessa ora (ottima vittoria 3-1) quando la trasmettevano in diretta in televisione.
Però da quello che vedo, dai tabellini della Lega, sembra che gli allenamenti e i mesi passati in nazionale stian dando parecchi frutti. In ricezione c'è un molto buono 68,7% di perfezione dopo 4 gare, e sembra che le avversarie ti stiano cercando in battuta [o forse sei te che vai a rubare le ricezioni alle altre pechè sai che ti riesce?!?!?], in attacco si sta migliorando, siamo ancora bassini come percentuale totale ma i numeri sono in progressione, sabato erano un ottimo 50%, ma sopratutto c'è da valutare che dopo il gran prix e l'europeo gli altri ti tengono in considerazione, ti hanno studiato e si allenano per fare in modo di limitarti, ma d'altronde questa è la pallavolo!!!

Il muro non lo menzioniamo neanche, voi donne dalla zona 2 non attaccate quasi mai, la zona 1 se non ci fosse per voi sarebbe lo stesso quindi per un attaccante di posto 4 le possibilità di murare si limitano alle fast dei centrali, e i centrali di queste squadre sanno come scansare il muro!!!

L'efficienza della battuta non la capisco, non so come interpretare i numeri, se lo 0,12 sia meglio o peggio di uno 0,6.

Quindi coraggio, la squadra sembra che sia buona, il pubblico vi segue e vi vuole bene, dategli qualche soddisfazione e vi seguiranno ovunque perchè possiate sempre sentirvi a vostro agio in qualunque posto andiate a giocare.

What a game....UTROLIG KAMPE
We had a really great start both in the first as in the second, helped by all the errors on serve by the HIK players. We did the rest: as we had a chance, we scored points.

The third was defenitly an easy set for HIK, but it's in the fourth were there really was a war in the Hal 1 at Vejlby-Risskov Hallen.
Down 20-22, we turned up 23-22, HIK had a couple of set points but we made everything we had to do.
I'm sorry for all the people who bet money on HIK, but sometimes shit happens....some of them were in the gym watching the game and I guess they were a little pissed off watching their money flying away. Sorry guys!!!

Prepartita del sabato mattina

Tra qualche ora saremo in campo per giocare contro Aalborg....una buona squadra, tutti alti e a cui piace tirare ogni pallone. Hanno una buona battuta, 6 su 6 battono in salto e a seconda di come gli gira può essere un bene per loro, oppure per gli avversari.

La settimana di allenamenti è trascorsa bene, anche se io non condivido la scelta del nostro allenatore di caricare gli allenamenti del lunedì e del martedì di azioni di gioco, mentre il giovedì sono più impostati sullo sviluppo delle caratteristiche individuali ed il venerdì si fa solo un'ora e mezzo di allenamento.
Per il momento i frutti si vedono ma credo che siano più dovuti alla caratteristiche individuali più che come frutto degli allenamenti, ma sopratutto perchè abbiamo un palleggiatore incredibile: Giapponese, sempre giocato nella serie A nipponica ed è stato 4-5 anni il secondo della nazionale.
Come stia giocando con me è ancora un mistero e se qualcuno di voi è interessato anche lui ha un blog, solo che è necessario sapere il giapponese... ;))

I siti nei quali si può scommettere ci danno come sfaforiti, però essendo una partita equilibrata, sulla carta, non ci sono handicap e si può giocare solo sulla vittoria secca.....pagare pagano bene solo che alle volte è strano scommettere su te stesso. Ovviamente butteresti sempre i soldi sulla tua vittoria perchè sempre scendi in campo per vincere.

Vedete questo bolide?!?! Non è uno spettacolo? Ovviamente abituati a muoversi sempre in macchina non si può apprezzare la bellezza di una due ruote, soprattutto senza motore, però in un paese dove la bici è una cultura, questo soggettino qua non è per niente male.....

Solo una cosa mi fa incazzare come una iena, da quando l'ho comprata si sarà bucata almeno 5 volte, perchè dopo un po' ho smesso di contare....Quei bastardi vendono le bici con i copertoni mordibi, così che al primo pezzettino di vetro ti si buca la camera d'aria. Se le bici costassero poco lo potrei anche capire, ma dato che te le fanno pagare una sassata, almeno dei pezzi che ti durini un po' di più gli potrebbero mettere...
Intanto mi tocca ritirare fuori gli attrezzi e riparla, perchè col cazzo che gli do altri soldi a questi negozianti ladri. Ma quanti di voi sarebbero ancora capaci?!?!? eheheh

Well well well,
after 3 matches we lost. I guess someone is happy that we didn't win against a top six team, otherwise they should start to consider us as possible winners. that's ok, it's not now the moment to play the best we can, we still have months in front of us to improve your skills.
Gentofte is a good team, built to win everything in Denmark and it's possible the do it, but I they had to work hard to won this game

By the way, it was a good game, or at least it was fun to be in the court and fight ball after ball to reach this 2 points.
This one is over, we have another home match against Aalborg and I'm sure all my team-mates can't wait to be saturday to start a new battle.
