I can retire with a smile on my face...

Don't worry,
I'm not thinkng of retiring, but after yesterday victory, I've won against all the Elit-division's team in Denmark.
It took 2 years to leave the court with a victory in the pocket againt Marienlyst, but we finally did it.
For sure if we'll have the pleasure to meet them one more time this year, this doesn't mean that we'll let them take the game!!!

Yesterday game was exiting , every ball was important, every point, from the first to the last, was played with the same intensity and energy, and that's almost why we reached the 25 points before them.

I don't want to make any comment, too many persons have done it and every one has done it from his own point of view, but I just want to focus on what normally happens during every match: yesterday I enjoyed a wonderful "talk-show" under the net...
It was particulary animated by Sasha and Jordan (I don't know if someone else was doing it, but unfortunatly I've to sit on the bench when I'm back row!!)
Nothing to be mad about, this is the beauty of volleyball: there is no physical contact, but you can show your superiority in many other "legal" ways.
By the way, as soon as Sasha made a mistake, they were so fast in making comments, (he was doing it as well), but at the same time they were as fast in picking up their bags and leaving the gym after the ref declared the end of the game...

Yeah, there was some jawing back and forth. I should say that I hope no one took that personally, I was just trying to get in Sasha's ear a little bit and see what would happen. It was good natured from my side and I hope it was the same from yours... I had fun with it (until we lost...) and I think it added to the spirit of the match. Good luck with the rest of the season!

ehy Jordan,
in the "underground" volley I used to play (the Serie C, which is the 5° division in Italy, must be considered an underground league comparing with the A1, A2 and B1) it was absolutly normal to talk under the net: players vs players, players vs coach, coach vs coach.... that's tha beauty of volleyball, because after the game everythig ends there. Not right after the game because who win keep talking, wo lost just have to listen without answering. It was almost usual for me to sing under the shower with your team-mates and to cheer all togheter, because the team who loses can just listen, they cannot party, they can only be mad with themself for the lost.
And this gives you more energies for the further matches to be the last one to talk, to sing, to scream...ejhejhe
