Strange saturday

It really was a strange saturday. Why? First because we won our first match of the 2006, and it should be enough to make this day special, but It happened something to me that really made it particular:

For the first time of my life I served under the net.
It was surrealistic: my first serve of the match was an
ace, my second one was under the net...and the ball was almost flotting while it was going to touch the 1st meter ot Holte's side.
I was shocked, I didn't know whether to be mad for the fatal mistake or just laugh.

According to the wordlwide known un-written rule, next match I bring a crate of Tuborg for the team. Actually in Italy we bring cakes for everybody, but I want to integrate myself in the society and I'll respect their traditions.

But that's not everything, as soon as I was back home from gym I checked the Hockey Olympic results and I wasn't believing my eyes: Canada - Switzerland 0-2
In the evening Finland won and dominated the game against Cech Republic and that's why on Canada-Finland my money went to the Scandinavian country, and nordicbet is paying it 3.95...

Actually DC, in Canada its called a "dick-out". So you are supposed to serve the next ball, of course, with the dick out. I'd rather see a tuborg than your dick anyway. But Brian may not.

Canada lost to the Swiss. Weak. They'll come back today and take the game 3-2.

so, how do you call if a girl does it?
Tits-out?

I could always do an Italian cake though...

Tits out would also be nice...

Here you go Diego...comment number 5. Not talking about hockey or volleyball. Sadly enough we are talking about whether or not you should pull out your wanger...and yes, you should. Just like if you are playing golf and don't hit it past the lady's tee off box. That is just how it is.

hey Chad, aren't you happy to be so close to the next Olympic Hockey Champion?
More than being in Europe, the next Champion is in Scandinavia!!

Next time you'll talk with an hockey fan and you'll tell that you live in Denmark, one of the Scandinavian country, for sure he/she's gonna say: "WOW, there should be a great hockey league right there, right? jejeje

Don't tell me you are on the 'Sweden is suddenly our brother' bandwagon Diego...It is funny that when they do something good that Danish people love them and they are like brothers. If they do something bad it is only their stupid neighbour. And Finland is not a part of Scandinavia as far as I know...I will be happy to be close to an Olympic champion in 2010 when the Olympics are in Vancouver and Canada can get some redemption for their poor performance this year. GO CANADA GO!

Hey Chad, I don't know if you remember what happened at the last European Football Championships, where Sweden, Italy and Denmark where in the same group. The last game of the group was Denmark-Sweden, and if they tied 2-2 both would have gone forward to competition, kicking out Italy...
Well, guess what the result was? 2-2....
I still had to come to Denmark, but Tina was always saying that Denmark and Sweden are not friends at all, they are neighbour both they can't stand each other, so why all the Danish commentators of the Olympic games were so happy when a swedish was winning?

That's why I prefered to watch the competitions on the Swedish channel, at least they were supporting their people.

Chad, I already had this conversation with a lot of people, and after some researches we ended that Finland is part of Scandinavia.
They don't have any language similarieas, they don't have any historic common points, but as I studied at the High School, Finland is part of Scandinavia by the geographical point of view....but we go deeper on this topic tuesday, ejhejehhej

Diego,

Sounds good. I have heard some people say that Finland is part of the 'Nordic' countries, includine Faroe Islands and Iceland, but Scandinavia is only Denmark, Norway, and Sweden....I really have no idea but would like to know the real answer. Nice win today and see you on Tuesday.

If you check out this site it will give you an idea of the dilemna about 'Scandinavia'. It seems that nobody really knows and that Scandinavia can include a number of different countries, depending on who you talk to and which story you want to believe...
