Amager and Frederiksberg...

as always it takes a lot this year to write reviews on our games.

Two weeks ago we played an home match against Amager, for me one of the most difficult matches topay because me, Ace and Ulrik couldn´t play as everyone had personal reasons for not beeing available toplay that day.

I wanna thank you all my team-mates for the great victory they achieved, winning the tie-break and putting 2 more points in our basket.

"The match against Amager was pretty intense, and luckly it came out to our advantage. We didn’t start well at all, and gave away perhaps 15-20 points in unforced errors in the first two sets. Maybe it was due to bad sets or bad passing. But the attack level we showed in the beginning of the 1st set, was not even good enough for the bottom of second division."
That´s a pretty hard comment from our libero, but in a way, just beeing in the back line rotation, he can see the game with a different point of view and I believe what he said is true.

" In general the match was played on a descent volleyball level. I think it could have gone both ways, but something happened in the fourth set that made Amager loose their faith in their own game. I was proberly our very solid block/defense, that made things difficult for their attackers. Fifth set was very even until 8-8 where we were very fortunate to gain a 3 or 4 point lead. Thanks to Amager for a great game ;-)”
Well Anders, I want to thank you one more time....

A week later, another gamein CPH. Game starts at 11 a.m.
Now, I wonder why the Federation allows clubs putting games so early in the morning when the other club has to travel more than 3 hours.
We had to start from Århus at 6 a.m., and may be this is the reason why we played a great 1st set, and almost a very good 2nd set. In Italy there is a way to say: "do not wake up the sleeping lion"...and unfortunalty for Frederiksberg, we had to woke up too early, ejhejhej

0-3 in 1 hour and 7 minutes, I guess they realized they had to play volleyball at the beginning of the 3rd set, because before it looked like we were playing alone!!!
Big victory, pretty good performance, 2 more points that put us in 1st position at the moment.

Now we have 3 weeks break and we are waiting for Lyngby to come to visit us: THIS IS THE MATCH OF THE YEAR.
It´s almost sure whoever wins this match has more than a foot in Elitedivision.
Our team has been built for this reason, and now it comes a fundamental game to turn our season in a succex or in a failure, but I´m sure we will performe at our best that day.
